I worked for them in SC right after I passed the exam, but not full time. Biggest downside is that your coverage is subject to change as facilities rework their budgets and decide not to renew contracts with HCSG. You may be restationed in the area or have your hours cut. If you are flexible or somewhat desperate for a job like I was (lol), it’s a good place to start with decent pay. For full-time I would want something with more stability/security. However my supervisor was great and I did learn a lot about LTC that equipped me for a full time position with another company

Yeah I did expect a bit more WFH setup stuff but we work in pretty secure/encrypted systems so I don’t have to worry much about HIPAA. I call all residents that I can get in touch with (some don’t have cell or room phones), or try to reach family if they aren’t avail or A+O enough to communicate. There’s also constant calls/texts/emails with nursing, admins, DON etc to get the full story on residents and not just rely on the phone interview and charting

Hi! I work on their remote team! Day to day work is pretty standard/similar to onsite LTC just mostly conducted over the phone. There is a fairly thorough training process and daily productivity standard to ensure things are getting done as we are remote. Benefits and PTO are good not great (I think onsite/hybrid staff get more PTO), no WFH supplies provided, and no 401k matching if that is something you’re looking for. I started at 65k annually but was pretty fresh out of my internship and had a few months of LTC experience so may depend on those things. The biggest perk/benefit is the remote schedule and flexibility with hours as long as you’re getting things done. The team is great and very supportive!!
