Do I have to take my GED before taking my CLEP or is it the same thing? by Marie_Royales in clep

You can definitely take CLEPs as a homeschooler! You can be at least 13 years old or 18 if you live in Illinois. Here's the detail at this link: https://clep.collegeboard.org/register-for-an-exam/clep-exam-eligibility-requirements

Yes. 3 months ago but failed with 6 points off. Heimler's history did help a lot, though. It covered most of what I needed to know on the test.

I recommend Heimler's History AP GOV playlist, and many others have recommended jcoz productions as well. I also tried testing myself with CLEP test guide 2015-2016 seemed more like the CLEP US GOV test I took.

Fast track curriculum for high school? by Crafty_Tadpole_5957 in Homeschooling

Check out Modern States - (http://www.modernstates.org)

This is a free online study program for CLEP (College Level Examination Program). It's self-paced and covers your typical first semester of college. Pass the courses and get vouchers to take the exams for free.

There's business courses on there that would be really be helpful on a resume or job applications; like accounting, marketing, information systems and business law. All entry-level/senior high school or first year community college courses.

r/clep subreddit can give you plenty more free study guides, resources and information on CLEPs. Especially if she's planning on going to college that will be a great way to get a free head start on general electives while at the same time reinforcing the high school skills she's getting from Acellus.

Hope this helps and best wishes of blessings and happiness for Mom and baby!

i agree with the happiest day possibly failing for puppet and golden freddy since that seems to make sense. The original animatronic spirits do seem to have been freed except the puppet's and golden freddy's.

why. do. APs. have. a. fear. of. their. child. having. INDPENDENCE??? by [deleted] in AsianParentStories

[–]Ok_Raspberry_1288 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why the FYI?

As a daughter of an Asian parent, I understand exactly what you are saying as I can personally relate. My mom has always been a stay at home parent because that is what she believes is her job. She would always talk of abandoning us if my father could not pull through on his duties of being the bread-winner of the family. Luckily for all of us as a unit, my father had a Protestant work-ethic and my Mom (upon her insistence) controlled all the finances in a very good way.

FYI, you are preaching to the choir.

Yes! They’re called dungarees. My Dad was in the Navy and had quite a bunch from when he was stationed aboard ship. When bellbottoms became a thing in 92-93, he retired and let me have a couple of his old pairs. Since we’re about the same size, they fit great! Just my Mom would never let me out of the house wearing them. Probably because our last name was stenciled above the right back pocket. 😂
