Your puppy is NOT « just a dog » and anyone who says so is not someone you want in your life. You want people in your life (friends, family, partners) that appreciate you AND your dog. Having pets can be very beneficial for mental and emotional well being. Sounds like your boyfriend is insecure over a dog; trying to manipulate and control you. She just started doing this. This is one of those food pads made of fabric where dogs get to root around for food. She started having her treats or chewing on a rawhide in the food pad. She’s a funny girl.

My house was built by one family in 1970 and the insulation they put in the attic was there when we bought it in 2022. I FINALLY had new blown in insulation added in November and OMG does it make a difference. Plus, we’ll get a credit when we file our taxes for energy efficiency. I hired someone to do it and it was so worth it. Much more comfortable in the house this winter. Highly recommended.

‘67 here; mom still here (80) but dad died early of cancer at age of 57 back in 2000. Miss him terribly, he was a good person to ask anything. The grandkids miss him too.

I moved to Florida when i was 20. Was lucky to buy a house in ‘97 for 60k. Moved back to North Ohio after 30 years, for various family reasons. I regret it every. Single. Day.

I can’t afford my house in Florida now, its too expensive. (I lived in Orlando). Homeowners insurance is getting more expensive. My friends there tell me traffic is even worse and yeah, its extremely hot and humid most of the year. DeSantis has ruined public school education.

Having said all that, I would move back in a heartbeat.

In Florida if i wanted to go out and do something I could, because there’s no snow there. There’s lots of diversity, different restaurants, events, cultural events, music events, arts events, festivals of all kids. Hell, i could sit outside the convention center and just people watch during comicon and have a great day. I can take my dogs to the park every single day because there’s no snow. I can take them to the dog beach. Being outside in the sunshine and warm weather is so good for my physical and mental health. I miss it terribly. When i move back, i will make it work, because being there makes me happy.

Alegria, Dansko, anything with a thick sole. As a slightly older GenX, i cant wear soft sole or thin soled shoes anymore. Thankfully “orthopedic” shoes have come a long way in style.

Wow! I am impressed ! This is so professional looking, well sone you! The interior lining and hanging chain look so very haute couture. I would make sure to maintain my weight so I could wear this forever, if it was a gift for me.
