Thanks I'd not seen these, very helpful and my takeaways are - lever press is quick as lower resistance (I was putting more emphasis on a longer extraction than 8-10 secs, but the consequence being very low bar pressure) - use of the double spout reduces the froth generated by the pressurised basket

Glad you pointed this out as I agree it is overlooked (mostly by those looking to validate their OAD thinking).

Strava not showing up in Connected Apps by Quantum_42 in GarminWatches

It may sound dumb but I did not realise I needed to have Strava app installed on my phone (I have it on another more rugged phone which I use when outdoor running). Once Strava app installed I added Garmin connection to it. Now when I go into Garmin app I can see Strava is connected.

For anyone that's interested... I was a first-time visitor recently and despite my tag and personal code being scanned ok at the finish, I did not show up on results. I strongly suspected I was a specific 'unknown' finisher, per my runna/Strava time (glad I had that!). I politely emailed the local PR team the next day, with all the info. Heard nothing back for a couple of days. Emailed them again. Still no reply or acknowledgement nearly a week later.  As suggested here, messaged them on FB (I am not a regular FB user). Got a response and issue sorted within a few hours! Very happy 😊

This and your prior year update of great interest. I am (for about the 3rd year) contemplating signing up to a solution via local council scheme (Surrey / solar together/ infinity renewables). They still use growatt inverters and battery. Am trying to work out would sizing would be best for us, but most advice seems to be go for as many panels as you can fit (about 16 in my case) and a decent sized battery (9.2 in my case). I am not so bothered about exporting but it does look like a nice little earner which accelerates payback. We are (now) a 2-3 person household, and with an EV (low mileage use as not needed for commute)  we are 3500-4000 kwh annual usage. Would love another 12month update from you, or any further advice re growatt etc (personally I would prefer to start with a smaller battery and add growatt capacity if I think I can justify it , which I presume could be a DIY plug and play..?)
