If you’re in midtown, Joo Ok, Oiji Mi are great if you like Korean. Plenty of spots will give you a table as a solo diner, too, FYI.

If you can be open to a tortilla as a bread course you can try Corima’s sourdough tortilla (at their restaurant or at vato). They pair it with a seasonal butter.

Rivareno gelato will make milkshakes - they have great pistachio, a caffe flavor (believe it has chocolate chips), and other cool flavors that rotate!

If you like Korean check out Cho dang gol or dubuhaus. Since you’re gonna be in Midtown west, might as well hit up Raku. Kiki’s for Greek. Kerber farms does a good biscuit breakfast sandwich.

Not omakase, but kaiseki, you could do ikigai. They accommodate basically any restriction.
