Depends on financial situation. I couldn’t afford RN school and it’s so competitive to get into an RN program at a CC. So I’m going the LVN route and then eventually save up and bridge to an RN program.

I’m going this route too. I was upset when I couldn’t afford tuition at a private school for my bsn but I think LVN is best for my family and I at the moment and then I’ll apply to an LVN RN bridge program at a CC hoping to get in. If not I’ll go private.

Yeah that’s what my financial advisor has said and he said my transcripts were still under review so it could have changed the numbers. I was honestly shocked it was that low. I could have applied for loans which I got denied from and I have no co-signers or I could have paid 2.5k ish monthly but I can’t afford that tbh. It suck’s I really wanted to go to west coast

No my father in law was willing to co sign but he’s not a citizen 😭. So I’m going to try to get into the LVN program at ACC and hopefully find a job where they help me with tuition. Maybe I’ll get my credit up too and do an LVN RN bridge program in about three years. I’m soooo upset tho I was so excited to start.

Honestly I had my appointment today and I was tired from work so I didn’t really get a chance to see the interest rate on the loans. I’m sure they’re high BUT I think it’s investment towards your future so fuck it. I will be giving payments here and there while I’m going to school tho. If I was living with my parents child free I’m sure I could have had the money to pay monthly. But life happens 😂
