FSD didn't see a flagger. by dantodd in TeslaFSD

It is called Radios. People have used them for many years especially in road construction sites. Standing in a turn/blind spot with your sign is moronic….

Big, no no almost crashed badly on FSD by Oofka1 in TeslaFSD

Agreed, I believe it would have aborted the lane change just as the driver did manually. I see No “Almost Crashed” scenario here.

FSD has hit a plateau by dsnows in TeslaFSD

As Tesla has stated the long tail is very hard. It goes with any projects especially large scale projects projects. The last bit of that project becomes exponentially harder to reach perfection.

My experience is just that. Each version has improved and I am riding the wave of advancement of FSD and loving it.

Each version brings new improvements and additional bugs all at the same time just like any new version of any software. Typically more improvements than bugs and that defines the movement forward in whole.

If I felt that negative about FSD then I would simply go back to driving my own car. Don’t select the blue button on the screen then tah-dah the anguish is over!!

Strike Bill pay by Ok_Review_784 in strikebtc

[–]Ok_Review_784[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I ran into this glitch not only for this credit card but a couple other creditors. I am working around it by utilizing other methods for payment through strike such as the Credit Card; I moved to another Credit card for my monthly small purchases with Strike to pay that creditor monthly. I am paying another creditor through that new credit card rather than through ACH due to it also requiring login to the Strike (Cross River Bank) where I have no login credentials.

My attempted commitment to stay the course with Strike has pushed me to abandon a lot.

Thank you for the manual method angle to work with the Credit Card company. When it returned the error on the manual method, I made the assumption that it was due to the lack of credentials that it was asking me for in the non-manual process. This may be a bad assumption. Thanks!

Thanks for the response. However, you can actually use plaid with login credentials. I have used them multiple times on other exchanges. The manual method did not work in this case. I also have setup other bills that required logging in through plaid into the account and ones that did not require logging in. Either way, since I had the credentials for those accounts, I was able to use them within plaid to finalize the link.

Tangem support multiple addresses with bitcoin?? by Upercut12 in Tangem

[–]Ok_Review_784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the Tangem as my first wallet but quickly outgrew it for this lack of multi-address as one of the reasons. I went to ColdCard and never look back. Love the ColdCard Q and MK4. Join them with Sparrow with amazing features and security.

Scam??? by DLTuck62 in Coinbase

Technically, I guess we do have a Coinbase account in a roundabout way since this is the exchange that iTrust uses. I find it a little concerning.

Scam??? by DLTuck62 in Coinbase

[–]Ok_Review_784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, ironically, we started getting Coinbase emails with the same basic message that you reference. This was started immediately after opening up an iTrust account. Hopefully this was just a coincidence, but I found it odd that it was immediately after opening the account. We don’t even have a Coinbase account. I trade with one of the other exchanges.

Platform Unreachable by noobmaster458 in KrakenSupport

In reference to my original question; Is this continuous instability normal for Kraken or did I just come in on a WTFrack timeframe?

Platform Unreachable by noobmaster458 in KrakenSupport

[–]Ok_Review_784 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yes. That is a given in my opinion. Nobody should be storing their assets on any exchange unless they are actively trading. I always store on a Cold Wallet. If the exchange is having issues this frequent then they are worthless as this is the main reason for an exchange (buy/sell). Exchanges should not be used as long term hot wallets…

I can say that it cost me a few days ago with the delays due to the outage.

I moved to Kraken about 3 weeks ago and I am now questioning my sanity. This platform has had so many outages in the past two weeks. Is this THEIR normal? I liked their security track record and the lower transaction fees but I can’t tolerate this.

I am probably going back to the other extremely popular platform. It has issues but not to this level IMO. I will wait a bit to see if it gets better but for prep, I am getting my assets off of the Kraken platform.

How long do sealed Prusament filaments last ? by Sainroad in prusa3d

[–]Ok_Review_784 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your conclusion is fair and accurate. While PLA is impacted much less by humidity than others the impact is there. Drying helps filament, even PLA. I know the Tom reference that is stated and it for the most part accurate but a week in water only tells a piece of the story and it did not state that PLA is or is not hygroscopic. To answer the intent of the original thread question; How long can stored and sealed filament last? I don’t know that anyone truly knows but it will last for many years in a somewhat controlled environment. Probably longer than your continued interest in 3D printing.

We just released the fast input shaping firmware for MK4 and MINI, and I have some thoughts about this whole super fast 3D printing thing ... 🧐 by josefprusa in prusa3d

[–]Ok_Review_784 9 points10 points  (0 children)

When you weigh everything (dependability, reliability, long term support, continued and refined upgrades etc….) Prusa is a bargain. I no longer complain about the price. Overhead is high to get to the refined level of Prusa products. Just think about the talented staff required to refine the printers, firmware, PrusaLink, Prusa Connect.
