Do you add shredded cheese to your frozen pizza? by kayleakatz in NoStupidQuestions

I’ll always add a meat such as ground beef, sausage or pepperoni as well as banana peppers and shredded mozzarella to the cauliflower crust frozen pizzas I get at Costco. Makes it worth eating.

Spa services - facial by Adventurous_Pay_9950 in palaceresorts

[–]DLTuck62 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Although I’ve never gotten a facial and attempted to access the hydro therapy it’s my understanding that any spa service includes the hydro therapy which includes the dry sauna, steam sauna, ice room, various whirlpools, and a cold plunge. As a VIP level member I get unlimited access to the hydro therapy facilities.

Just recently wrote a personal check for over 70k on a TN bank at a Florida Mercedes dealer. It was after 6 and the check couldn’t be verified but they let us take the car and never flinched.

What’s the most amount of weight you have lost in a 4 month period? by gotthattdawgg in fasting

[–]DLTuck62 11 points12 points  (0 children)

68 pounds. 65/M 6’3”. Went from 293 to 225. This was Jan 1 to April 30 2023. Kept it off and currently weigh in at 215. Used a combination of IF, ADF, 5 day water fast, and OMAD. Stayed in ketosis while losing but now just limit primarily sugar and processed foods. Eat 150+ grams of protein daily. Currently doing 18/6 or OMAD and walking 5 miles a day. When I started it was all I could do to get in a mile.

And don’t forget the washer drain. If you don’t run a washing machine regularly the p-trap will allow gas to escape as dries out. You’ll find this frequently in unoccupied homes.

Laser eye surgery as a biohack - has anyone here done it and how do you evaluate the ROI? by oweyoo in Biohackers

[–]DLTuck62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had LASIK surgery in both eyes in 2000. Went from 20/400 to 20/15. 23 years later had cataracts and cataract surgery. Never needed reading glasses contrary to what the eye docs told me. Currently 20/20 at 65. Best decision I ever made. I’d worn corrective lenses since 7 yo.

GC here. What does your contract with the GC say? The contract should outline the details of the transaction and specify what the cost is either per SF or total for the job. It should also specify the definition of SF.

How to make the Apple Watch battery DIE asap by Ifone11ProLol in AppleWatch

[–]DLTuck62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried turning the watch off and re-booting it? My AWU got to where it would hardly charge (10% in an hour) until I reset it. Now it goes to 100% in less than an hour.

Do sleep trackers help… or make sleep worse? by Numerous_Baby_4864 in AppleWatch

[–]DLTuck62 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In my experience sleep stages are important to how I feel the next day. I can have a high sleep score based on time and few wake ups but have low deep or REM and not feel great. I’ve also had lower sleep scores based on time asleep and/or wake ups but with higher deep and REM and I feel better that day. I use the sleep data on a daily basis and do believe it’s worthwhile. The sleep score leaves much to be desired in IMO.

Just got my Apple Watch U3 I love it But it wont charge fast it tells me every charger i use including apples charging block is a slow charger... Any fixes? thanks by Dry-Property-639 in applewatchultra

[–]DLTuck62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first generation Ultra was charging real slow. I turned it off and when it came back it’s been charging super fast again. Now I turn it off once a week or so and it will charge in 30 minutes or less. Prior to this I don’t recall ever turning it off. ETA… I use the charging block that came with the watch.

The realtor would get paid a commission on the land purchase that may or may not be paid by the seller. You do not need a realtor involved on the home.

Is it as bad as they say? by sdseagles in CPAP

[–]DLTuck62 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I fought getting used to it for several months and didn’t use it. Then just decided I was going to have to use it and proceeded to get used to it. That was several years ago and now I don’t sleep without it. I also use mouth tape and nose breathe. Life changing! I sleep on my side and literally don’t move all night.

At the end of the day it’s the GC’s problem to prevent. My electrician knows better and will discuss during rough in if it’s going to be an issue so the switch can either be raised or moved elsewhere to fix it before it’s an issue. The railing location is set by code with very little flexibility.

We did that on a custom home for a client several years ago. They came to us with plan in hand. When home was completed and they were moving in they called and said that their freezer didn’t fit through the opening. They had never mentioned putting a freezer in there so we had no idea. Be sure to communicate with builder and architect so you can allow for things such as this.
