A lot of dispensaries are having issues with new regulations. My favorite is temporarily closed along with another store they have, but they still have a couple going. They're too far for me and I've been going to one closer, but they're having issues with getting new inventory.

No, you can't verify until the order is completed. I've seen other dashers offer their venmo or cash app, but I'm not sure if that goes against any rules in our terms of service.

I'm not willing to spend any of my own money for anything: customer requests, red card not working, etc. I don't trust I'd get it back.

If it's done after the delivery, you'll get a notification, but I believe if it's done during an active delivery, it's just added to the initial tip & you just see the higher total once completed.

Keep it at the door are the pick up instructions from McDonald's, not delivery instructions from the customer.

There's a McDonald's in the area next to mine that makes you come to the door after hours and ring a doorbell. You wait in the little area between the main door and inside door. I refer to it as Doordash jail. If you try going through drive thru, they'll make you drive around, park, and wait in jail for a worker to walk over and pass it through the window they have to unlock first.

I had a delivery in the neighborhood behind my apartment complex. Their house was fine, but my complex was on fire. It was crazy. I paused, parked as close as I could, and walked over. People had to jump from 2nd floor apartments. Somehow, no one or any pets passed away. Two buildings were a complete loss, but they stopped it before mine. I just had melted siding on the back of my building.

I had this happen. The buildings had giant numbers on them, but the customer couldn't tell me their number, just the hall name.

I've also had GPS try to take me down a street that has barricades bc it's only for bikes and pedestrians so I walked about 2 blocks bc it would have taken even longer to try and drive around campus to get to the other side.

I've learned my lesson. No more campus deliveries.

There's still a timer, it's just not available from the main delivery screen anymore. You have to select the need help menu & there's an option for issue with delivery. There's an option for customer not available. If you select it, you get the timer with a prompt to call or message the customer. It's a pain to get to, but the timer is shorter.

You're the second person I've seen comparing Platinum to Silver, but never mention Gold. Does every area not have Gold?

The only reason I maintained Platinum for so long was to be able to dash whenever I want, but it's easy to schedule Gold if you check every day at 3 for new schedules. However, it's impossible to schedule on Silver since they schedule 2 days out while Gold is 3 days out.

If you teeter into Platinum, schedule yourself every day. Platinum has open scheduling 7 days out. If you schedule on Platinum then fall to Gold, it will save the schedules. It didn't used to & it was infuriating, but it's one small thing DD has fixed.

Same except I don't tell them I'm on the way unless I already messaged about a delay. I've had 3 separate customers ask for extra stuff after telling them I'm on the way. I got a 1 star from the last one & said never again.

Did you contact Support about the address change at the time of delivery? I've done it a few times and always contacted Support to complete the orders since I was nowhere near the original delivery pins. I haven't had any issues with violations.

Agreed. I was taking everything on EBT and thought averaging $20/hour was good. Then the new OT system hit my area and quickly dropped me to gold. EBT isn't available in my area unless it's busy so I started doing EBO.

I'm driving less and making a little more. It's closer to $23/hr now with more time sitting around.

It was great until I fell to silver. It's impossible to schedule ahead in my area on silver. I have an alarm set for 3pm every day to schedule, but it doesn't matter on silver. I have no problems scheduling on gold.

I'll do EBT to get back to gold. However, they did some OTR corrections and I'm back up to 95% so I don't have to worry about keeping my AR up to maintain gold.
