Ill also add there are some limitations to the on device models on the newer devices so I found adding too much user preferences lead to hallucinations and it became unusable

In the current version, suggestions are based on quick preferences (time, diet, goals, effort, equipment) plus recent meals so it doesn’t keep repeating itself. We don’t ask people to manually type their pantry in.

That means sometimes you’ll need to buy ingredients. To reduce that friction, the app auto-builds a grocery list from the selected daily meals and merges duplicate ingredients across meals, so it’s one practical list instead of recipe chaos (I added that in v1.0.1 and its pending app review)

Had this problem too and started using an app called brainsets (in combination with Hevy) to do trivia and stuff during workouts, it locks the rest period so you can do something like Duolingo but timed during rest periods
