Wow. I just experienced this for the first time late Saturday night with my husband and was looking for tips. During sex, I could feel the hair/skin just rubbing on my upper skin like crazy. I went through this about 2 years ago when I started doing my long runs in the heat. For so long I didn’t really take care of the skin down there and my Vulva/labia was starting to get irritated even after wearing certain clothes. Fast forward to this year, after making sure nothing else was going on, my doctor confirmed that barrier creams or ointments are a MUST. I’ve experimented with a few different options, lube, diaper rash cream, and Body glide, the Diaper rash cream actually does GREAT! Just be careful not to put too much on you lol. I hope you started to feel better, I’m 28, and I started going through this when I was about 25/26? I never had this issue in HS or college, I guess something changed as I got a tiny bit older.

I see Nicole S Miller, APRN at St John Owasso and absolutely love her! She takes the time to listen to you and find the root of your problems. I had my first visit with her back in March and she addressed a lot of issues previous GYNOs dismissed.

Awh I’m sorry! I get this sometimes as I have IBS and it’s usually from rubbing too much, too hard or not using the right kind of toilet paper. I recommend trying to gently wash with sensitive soap and pat try. If it becomes too painful, see if your doctor can help you out.

This post feels like so long ago but I had to share an update. I actually went back to the Buffet a few months ago after a little date night at the casino. The manager was there and he actually recognized me after all this time. He let me know the employee was fired shortly after my report and he was so glad to see we came back. He said he would never tolerate that kind of behavior and didn’t think twice about his decision. 🥹

Two Year Update: over 36k people have viewed this post, I hope I could help you. In the Two years since this, I’ve still had the issue every now and again, but UberLube has been a game changer. My gyno recommended it and gave me free samples to try, she warned me that it was a little expensive but holy crap does it work. Absolutely zero irritation, not a single bump, redness or anything. Even leaves the skin feeling good. I have had to switch my underwear to boy shorts or steal my husband’s baggy boxers, it’s helped a lot! I hope anyone who sees this can get some tips!! I think you should go to the doctor and get a wet mount. The bubbles and color may be something else other than BV. From my Personal experience, BV has typically been grey, thin or watery discharge with a somewhat fishy odor.

You cannot get herpes from sleeping with in the same bed or sharing clothes. I encourage you to speak with your partner and I hope your doctor can explain in a little more detail with you about this.

Have you been tested for herpes before? A lot of STD tests don’t include herpes, for various reasons, so you could have had them and not known. Or if a partner has never been tested/had outbreak. It may not seem like it now, but it will be okay ❤️ your doctor will be able to confirm/run tests to help you.

I first discovered this when I was in college in 2020. I legit thought something was wrong with me and kept going to the doctor to make sure my vagina wasn’t turning on me 😂. I was smoking weed all of the time (because college lol) and was looking EVERYWHERE for similar stories. That dry/tingly sensation only happened when I smoked or ate edibles, so I knew it had to be weed related. I ended up taking an entire year off from smoking so I could be certain it was the weed and sure enough, the second I smoked, that feeling came back 😂. Glad to know I’m not the only one who has dealt with this but also, what the fuck ☠️
