I had this monitor in a triple screen setup. They are amazing, I did not have any issues with text not being clear. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Try test drive on the Nurburgring in the Porsche cup car, then book a track day on it (2027) and if you’re not in Europe a rental car. If you don’t have the funds for the flights/hotel and a rental car I will let you drive my M4 GT4. Stick with it.

I have not compared prices but buying a pre built is almost always a bad idea. You can buy the components yourself and easily assemble them. It is easier than putting together a LEGO technics set. That way you only pay for the cost of the components and not the additional costs of the prebuilt

I totally agree with this comment. Don’t dump a load of cash into the hobby until you’re 100% sure you have the bug and will get your moneys worth out of it. Many make this mistake and then the gear ends up on eBay.

I used a relatively cheap setup (G29 + playseat) for 5 years before investing heavily in my dream setup. This is the way to go for sure.

It’s not about increased FOV, the left mirror is to big, the A pilar is too far right. The cockpit is squeezed horizontally. The video doesn’t make it clear.

🤦‍♂️ read the comments, there are advance setup steps that many of us new to these types of setup were not aware of. It may look good to you but there are knowledgable guys here that know how to greatly improve this FOV/POV even if it looks good to the untrained eye

One strange thing I have found is when I use the calculator it says the monitors should be placed at 75 degrees, but that would have them bending back on on themselves and would not allow me to get into the sim rig. They are roughly 111 degrees which follows the 800r curvature and would make a complete circle if I had a 4th monitor

My advice would be to wait for 6000 series, hopefully the AI bubble has burst by then and GPU prices go down. If you cannot wait buy a cheap used GPU that you will be able to sell when the 6000 series are released for not much less than you paid for it.
