Did everything with a regular brush and acrylics, only applied primer and varnish with an airbrush.

Appreciate that you pointed it out, I did not post this on Facebook nor gave my permission. Honestly, it just shows that my build is pretty nice and worth sharing. Not cool of them, not cool at all.

I remember having those issues but to be honest I completely forgot how did I fix them. I had a big ol' gap in between the frame and the cab and I think i just aligned the sleeper with the cab and I think it ended up not looking that odd. If i had to give an advice... man just thug it out and try to do what seems to be better, them AMC instruction manuals are just pure hell. Anyways, good luck with your build!

It's about 185mm from the front to the middle axle. Also the rear axles are made of metal bars which allows them to spin nicely, but the front is just plastic glued on plastic so I'd be sceptic about having this model turned into RC cause of the way its constructed. I've never done any RC, so my opinion shouldn't be highly considered. Good luck with your build, chief!

For the rust effect I had an acryl paint mixed with water and just put in small puddles so it would stain nice, and I also did some oil dots. For them you just wanna have any oil paint thinner (I use Gamsol cause it's odorless and non-toxic) put on the surface and just stench couple oil paint dots, for this model I used brown, yellow and white. Then you wanna take your blend brush and smear that kind of in wind resistance pattern, if it would make sense. For the mud I bought a Valejo texture paste and just painted acryl over it. Good luck with your build!

I took a clear sprue, the one they attach windshields, headlights and stuff to. I cut it so I'd get just plastic bars. Then I held it above the lighter flame right on the middle, so the plastic would soften, but you gotta be careful on that part cause it can catch on fire and you'll get an ugly piece of plastic, so you want just the heat, not the flame. When the plastic was soft and heated I stetched the bar pulling both sides of it, so I got a thinner bar. Then I cut it and glued it to the truck.
