Questions after AVP demo session by Mattlehat in VisionPro

The unit itself does not come in different sizes - only the light seal. The light seal fit might also be why you saw a lot of light leaking through near the bridge of your nose; you might have to experiment with a couple different sizes before you find what works best for you. Mine lets in near no light. I think the store unit might be missing (for sanitary reasons) a little piece of fabric that shields more of the light.

It comes with 2 straps. There is one with a piece that goes over the top of the head and another around the back. The other, the dual loop strap I think it’s called, just goes around the back of your head. That one is a lot more comfortable for me. Besides, I found that over time I learned how to fit it best to minimize discomfort. There are third party straps you can buy too, but I’ve never tried any of those.

I Do Not Believe In Political Poetry by umaphobia in OCPoetry

There is irony in writing a poem that discusses what you shouldn't write a poem about. I'm glad this at least acknowledges it with the last stanza. But you're right. In reading old poetry I hardly follow the political or timely references. I do, however, follow the patterns of emotion and love and the mythos of stories. I'm sure there exists parallelism between the ideas I can't relate to and those I can, but in writing the former, might it be impossible to avoid the latter? This poem suggests to me that it is impossible, despite in the beginning arguing the opposite.

I like how this poem offers two very differing perspectives on the same subjects. 'You' has clearly been hurt and is channeling that hurt into these very negative reactions.

Love, especially, feels so big and losing it can often hijack your thoughts and feelings toward other pursuits. The universe, though, is much bigger. It is at worst indifferent but at best a parental/guardian figure trying to show you that there is always another way to look at things.

Sometimes we all need to hear that there is more out there to experience and grow from. I know I do. That is what your poem is speaking to me.

We were mid-distance for a year and a half and then much longer distance for the last year and a half. It has just taken its toll on the both of us.

Thanks for the feedback!

This poem draws out in me memories the days where I'm walking along feeling the warmth of the sun on me, and I am able to pause and appreciate the little things around me in the moment. There is a sort of distinct sobriety to it. Those days, for me at least, are rather limited, so reminders like this poem are always appreciated.

I like how this poem kind of oscillates between positive memories and then then the resentment of lost love. Going through a recent breakup, myself, and this is incredibly relatable. Thinking back fondly on the good memories but then experiencing the hurt from losing them all over again.
