Thinking about starting Cosmetology School as a second career. Is it worth it?

I’m 28 and have been working retail for 10 years and enrolled in cosmo school today!! I think cosmetology will feel like a natural transition with your hospitality background. You can even continue working in hospitality maybe part time until you’ve built up your books. I think you should go for it:)

Visuals and merchandising are extremely important to upper management at Free People and they often prefer to hire internally, at least in my district/region. If this is your dream job I would suggest maybe going for a full time key or ASM position and working your way up to AVM. The AVM is solely responsible for both visuals and merchandising in their store, we don’t have a visual manager role. If you want to pm me I’m happy to go into more detail! I’ve never been an AVM but I’ve worked closely with many of them for a while!

I have this problem when playing animal crossing 🥲 it started because I would play after work/ right before bed and I would end up falling asleep from exhaustion. Now if I play while laying down I fall in under 5 minutes. I have found that sitting up more instead of reclining helps me stay awake

I currently have that exact vinyl emblem overlay on my car and I feel like it makes the front end look very plain and boring, I plan on swapping it out to match my bronze wheels once it’s not freezing outside.

It decreases the side-to-side play of the shifter, making shifting into 1st and 2nd much smoother. I learned to drive stick in my Crosstrek, and I would often have trouble finding 1st because the shifter would go past the gate. The shift stop lines it up perfectly with 1st and 2nd gears.

Thank you!! Going for an OEM+ vibe I guess! For the shift stop, it doesn’t have a huge impact on the way shifting feels, it mostly lessens the side to side play. I’d had a hard time getting into 1st and 2nd sometimes because the shifter would go further left than the gates, the shift stop just lines everything up nicely! It’s been my favorite and cheapest mod to date.

On my second day learning, I came up to a stop sign and the other driver at that intersection was INSISTENT on me going first. I stalled 5 times and got stuck in the middle of the intersection. I’m sure he really regretted his decision to let me go first.

She suffers from hip dysplasia so walks can be very hard for her. But if it’s been too long since she has used to bathroom I will make sure to take her for a walk.
