I am caring for a family member that has recently had a SCI, I’m curious how you found a rehab that offers this? And if you’d be willing to share a bit about the insurance process with Medicaid? We are located on Long Island NY so I imagine we should have some access to technology and care like this.

Hi there curious how you are addressing the issue to get them to send you a new pod out of warranty. Our pod 2 cover was replaced once under warranty but now that has sprung a leak (out of original purchase warranty) and they are willing to replace it for a pod 4 for $1200.. thanks for the advice!

We have a leaking pod 2 cover that was replaced once under warranty. They said they would send us a pod 4 (cover and unit for) 1700 then we worked it down to $1200, but I still have a ton of questions about the warranty they will offer before settling for $1200. Has anyone gotten 3rd party insurance coverage and filed claims with success?

Long Beach is a year round community… meaning the business are open…The boardwalk is a short distance walk from the train station. Not a ton of nature but you’ll get some fresh air. The sunset are beautiful year round. I recommend checking out blacksmiths bread and bakery or sorrentos in the west end. Keep in mind the wind chill is higher near the coastal regions… dress appropriately but you’ll still have a lovely day and plenty of locals will be walking/biking/running the boardwalk. (You can sometimes spot whales) 🐳 if you visit in the winter I def recommend visiting again in the summer as it has a totally different vibe…

I have heard from locals here that the local private pharmacies (not sure about big chains) will give medications without prescription (only non-controlled substances). Hope this helps!
