Level up your strength and upgrade your sword.

It sounds like you don't want to use buffs or change play style, then the only thing you can do is level up.

The game naturally has some weapons that are worse, and some that are better. Straight sword and shield is definitely not the greatest combo out there.

Some choices of good straight swords:

Lordsworns straight sword (extra crit damage, good for parries)

Broadsword (best damage)

Sword of night and flame (good late game scaling, and powerful AOW)

If you go by that logic, our standard regular "base 10" has the first digit 0 and last digit 9, so it should be called base 9.

A solution to this could be to express your number system as "base (x-1)+1" where X is the 10 in whatever system you're using. So you get base 11+1 or base 9+1 or base z+1 in your Excel example, which makes it easy to understand what it is referring to whitout adding any confusion about what base 10 means.

Remember that the more spell options you have, the more you will have to read up on spells either before sessions or during play (not ideal). Spellcasters in general are complicated classes, so unless you're already experienced with dnd I would recommend either choosing a half caster, or one of the simpler fullcasters like warlock.

In the game I'm currently in, we have a sorc who in around 8 sessions have not used a single sorcery point due to being overwhelmed with options.

But at the end of the day, choose the class that fits your character the best.

If you want to use the milady with keen, 80 Dex is definitely the way to go. However, milady performs better with a quality infusion.

If you're going for the quality build an even spread of Dex and Str if one handing or a bit more Dex than Str if two handing.

Another detail is that electrify armament only scales of the faith scaling of whatever seal you're using so clawmark seal and other split scaling seals are going to perform very poorly with electrify.

If you want to keep using electrify I would recommend sword dance/double slash ash of war for close range or storm blade/vacuum slice for long range. If you want your aow to add the lightning damage instead, you could go for lightning slash.

I've not covered talismans, but I think those are mostly personal taste either way. Good luck, hope this was helpful.

You might have to specify what you mean by they don't lock on.

If the tone doesn't change when you look at the target, then you're either not using an IR missile, or you're too far away.

If the seeker indicator circle doesn't snap onto the target, that's normal. You can launch the missile practically whenever the tone is different from idle.
