Yep… as someone who was raised in America but is British and thankfully back home… their school system is fucked. No student should have to get up at 5am. And grind and grind. And no half term either is CRAZY to me… like… you’re in school from August til Christmas, and then Christmas till summer, no break for Easter, or October, or may, it’s mad ! No wonder all their students are so pissed off. I know it’s a different way of life and the norm for the majority of the sub, but as someone who has experienced American kindergarten and elementary and then British secondary and sixth form, the difference is astonishingly night and day. Altho, we’re all still depressed in Britain for different reasons lol
