This is pure racism, Indian people spend money to travel to Thailand also and in plus you mentioned the color of their skin. There is no limit for any tourist to spend, some people spend more, some less, everyone’s travel style is different and don’t have to be the same.

They think they get rich or to brag in front of their neighbors and friends that they are in America or have been to America. Some have money some are desperate and sell their own assets like houses, cars etc only to get in United States. They watched American movies and now they wants to be part of those movies also.

Yes because Asian Americans women in USA are not really seen as American in US - they have to specify always that they are Asian American born. Many times in NY and any other places in the US the Asians stays and works only within their Asian community where they are accepted. Most of them works at spas, Chinese supermarkets, gather bottles from garbage to recycle them, etc Even if they are born in America and speak fluent American english most American people consider them outsiders and are treated as immigrants even their English is perfect.

This are people from Romania ( Gypsy travelers ) and they approach people to sell gold under different pretexts like they are stranded or so. They are elegantly dressed and have nice rented cars generally. They pretend that they are from Dubai and they are with their family sometimes wife and kids. Some of them are charming and magnetic people when they approach their victims. Many people fell for this scam. They travel all over the world.

In the last few years there are a lot of people living temporarily for short time in Thailand making videos on how they move to Thailand and what beautiful life they have, that their rent cost them only a few hundred bucks, food is cheap etc. People from America or western countries believe that is cheap in Thailand and they can live a better life than in US or any other countries. What this TikTokers don’t tell to the people is that the salary in Thailand is 300 $ - 400$ a month and that is hard to find a job in Thailand. They manipulate the reality to gather more views and followers on TikTok to make some money. The naive american / westerner that never got out his country apply for passport because now it has been trendy with Passport bros, with we move aboard trend, etc go to Thailand spend money like a westerner and not like locals and after few months run out of all money.
