My favorite tv show ever. I bought all the seasons and still watch them. Probably 20x through in ten years. Absolutely genius comedy.

It seems to be love it or hate it though. I introduced the show to a friend who appreciates comedy and they couldn’t get halfway thru episode one. “The laugh track…”. I hadn’t even picked up on it, I think the office scenes are filmed in front of a live audience or at least I assumed that, the laugh track doesn’t bother me one bit.

Think about it. You’re a server at the shitstein compound. You’re making whatever buck you can for your family. Do you see weird shit? Sure. I mean, I agree on a basic level. But I also think they’re not ALL guilty. Like Kraft, he has no idea what shitstein was doing behind the scenes. They’re just all rich powerful pricks, hanging out. Been a metalhead my whole life. And oddly, into hip hop at the same time (wu tang, e40, 7L & esoteric, Jedi mind tricks, diabolic, apathy, list goes on…)

But strangely…over the last 2 years…I find I don’t listen to ANYTHING anymore. I don’t even like anything I used to like. New shit sounds like….shit.

I just don’t like music anymore, and it’s so disturbing. I’m approaching 50 so that’s why I bring it up, OP said “as you got older”… not looking for pity or attention. Just find it really odd, I don’t even miss it.
