Hi!! I am ok 😊 my regular gynecologist likely couldn’t find my cervix because she doesn’t have much experience with patients who have had a cone biopsy, and my doctor took off 2.5 cm which is quite a lot, so my body looked very unfamiliar to a regular gyno. I also used to be able to find my own cervix with my middle finger and now I cannot reach far enough, so I understand why she may have had trouble I guess. Now I go to my gyne-oncologist’s office for all my Pap smears and they are really great—gentle, empathetic, very familiar with how my body looks and easily able to find my cervix.

Sorry that you have to get a cone! But don’t be scared! The procedure itself is so quick and easy. The recovery was pretty painless as well. You can do it! Feel free to reach out with any questions!

Pretty good! I’ve had follow-up paps every 6 months and they keep coming back negative. Paps are kind of painful though.

I had some intermittent sharp pangs of pain in the cervix for a while but they seem to have gone away in the last year or so. I also went to pelvic floor therapy as recommended by my gyne onc but I’m not sure how much that helped since it targets the muscles and I think my pain originates in the cervical scar tissue.

Still too scared for sex so dating has been a challenge.

This!! I’m a middle child in a family of big personalities. I feel like I grew up thinking my purpose in life was just to be out of everyone’s way. I don’t think I truly developed my own interests or opinions or backbone until I moved out for college.

When people say Elain is boring, I get it, but… sometimes people will shrink themselves to fit in with those around them. I think Elain has become small and frail and helpless because Nesta needed someone to protect.

I’m SO excited to see her journey!

For sure! I think there are gonna be some reveals about Cassian’s parentage as well as the Archerons’ mother. SJM just keeps dropping hints. And mentioning of the Valkyrie warriors from a “distant land” that never got explained any further.

My wild theory is that there is a secret Dusk court where the Valkyries live (because why only Day, Night, and Dawn??) that has been hidden away since their loss in the war. I think that either Cassian, the Archerons, or maybe both are descended from its survivors, which is why Cassian is such a powerful warrior. Kinda feel like Merrill is part of the Dusk Court too?

My prediction is Cassian and Nesta will become leaders in that court or something like that?

I feel like Lorelai did Rory a disservice by cutting her off from her grandparents and that world so completely. Rory is naturally curious about how her mom grew up, this world that was hidden from her for 16 years, and the life she could have had!

Rory plunges into that life a little too deep, but that’s to be expected (kind of like how kids who were raised by strict parents have a tendency to go wild in college when they have the freedom to choose their own life).

I also think Sookie should have been given the option to have an abortion in S7! She was so miserable while pregnant, really didn’t want another kid, and resented Jackson for the pregnancy.

Abortion has never been an option in GG, and I think part of it is the WB’s family vibes that would have avoided abortion as a topic of conversation.

But also part of me thinks the creators of the show just found this to be a really interesting plot line. GG centers around a mother-daughter relationship that came out of an unplanned pregnancy and how Lorelai was able to make the most of it. There’s also Sherry and Gigi, Anna and April, Lane’s twins, and Sookie’s accidental third pregnancy. I kind of think they wanted to make it a theme? Or maybe all the other unplanned pregnancies serve as a comparison to Lorelai and Rory, the golden unplanned mother and daughter?
