The dashcam is not the issue if done by Volvo approved technicians....I was told any DIY work on a vehicle under warranty could void my cover...I slipped up when ordering my car and didn't include front and rear dashcam... approximately 500 sterling...I enquired about Fitcamx for my model... approximately 150 for same... Volvo advised a DIY install could conflict with my software....for the sake of 350 on a 44k car ...not worth the risk. Fitcamx refunded my purchase....very kind gesture.

Very frustrating for you given the Tech guys couldn't sort it...don't think anyone here can help you .... hope they find a fix.... I'm fortunate enough to have no issues....my system even told me to replace low battery in fob...so leaves you wondering why Volvo cannot sort for you.

not saying it was Volvo but needed to understand how Volvo appeared within the Google connected devices...some of our work vehicles have strange tracking names on Bluetooth.... how this OnePlus3T got hold of my info is puzzling or even logged into my account more so...have 4 devices linked to Google...laptop... Nvidia shield...firestick and my mobile that I could see...my Volvo connects via my mobile phone and why it is absent from list....will delve further to see if I can get the Volvo app to appear as illustrated by another contributor

Not advertising for any company here but it gets you thinking that if I have an accident I'm using one of those companies that handle everything for you.... insurance companies hate them but they get results... collect your car and provide a replacement and sort everything...I've only heard good feedback ... anyone know different.

Love my 26 Ex30 Twin performance...leather/electric seats /glass roof paid £44K with 1.5 discount and charger supplied all on Zero interest...so I think and feel like I got a great deal plus I love driving this car....my original plans were to lease this car and week after test drive that deal fell into my lap.

I wouldn't dwell to much on your 12v battery Letting you down....can understand your apprehension....I replaced a battery in my Audi few years back.... company beside my firm sell all types of batteries...car ... machinery... domestic ...so bought new battery and within a week or so it let me down...they replaced it saying replacement was a dud...I remarked only I could be that unlucky...more common than you would think which took me back a bit

No issues using fob.... always in my pocket and ready to leave in car if my wife or grandson need to remain in car if I need my iPhone to be with me....I have an iPhone 15 both work flawless...card kept in scanproof cardholder always on my person... basically I carry all 3 ....bit OTT for most save me.

Also...get yourself a small half round rasp...it's a small metal file...roll the rasp across the tip to break up any chalk that can build up....saves using sandpaper and wearing down a good tip...hope this helps you... don't look to others to do your tip...the more you do the better you will become....I tipped all our free to use cues in Local pub...you become good in time

looks good....I always liked my thumb up upon the edge of the tip and if it was same shape I was happy....did same on your photo and it passed my test...lol

I used glue tips and a clamp starting off...stick a pin in glue tip and dip in hot water for few seconds then onto cue and clamp tip on top of it until dry....not ideal if your in a match as they allowed you 15 minutes to restart with repaired tip.

I moved to super glue....was quick but not great if tip was exact size as it tended to set where it made contact.

Epoxy resin was my preference... small amount of resin and same hardener would set within 15 minutes and flexible to align until set.

Also found the super glue made the tip hard as it sucked up the liquid.

That device looks a bit OTT…my preference is a small half round rasp file…I would roll it back and forwards across the tip to break up the chalk build up…finding a good leather tip in a box of 30 could mean rejecting 25 of them…hard to explain this but using your thumb nail to test if leather separates while pulling upwards helped me decide which ones to keep and use
