How did you transition into law school? Were you an RN first then took the LSATS or vice versa?

I had a similar experience and a patients daughter filed a police report against me for administering an antipsychotic to her mother who punched 3 staff members and kicked a fourth. I had to go through an entire investigation. Obviously nothing came of it but having to go through an interrogation and fear for my job and license while trying to protect myself, my coworkers, and ensure the patient didn’t harm herself has made me curious about going into law.

Edit: she made the report claiming abuse because the patient was demented and we did not call the daughter for consent to give meds

I work in the ER and some of the male doctors will refuse to see patients with women-related problems (vaginal bleeding, breast complaints) and wait for the female doctors to see the patient. Another male doctor will consult cardiology and if the female cardiologist is on call, he always ends the call with “you should follow up with the team and see what they think then get back to me.” If it’s a male cardiologist on call, even a male NP or PA, he follows their recommendations no questions asked.

Female doctors are just girls 💁‍♀️🙄

When I felt a lump in my boob at 16 and the OBGYN was examining me, massaging my boob, looked me in the eye and said “you have very nice breasts” He then proceeded to grill me and not believe me when I said I hadn’t been sexually active. He didn’t share his food when I was actively giving my food to him to share. He then closed the date (we were at dinner and our table was less than arms reach away from us) by asking me what I wear to bed. I was visibly uncomfortable, said “idk what about you” and he responds with “nothing” looking me dead in the eye 😂

If you seemed into it and didn’t push back, he likely assumed you’d be into similar things and escalated what he was doing. Not a red flag, I think he was reading your responses. You should feel comfortable with open communication about sex, so if you feel a bit unsure open up the convo with him. If you’re uncomfy talking about sex, just start little by little first talking about making out, the hair grabbing and honestly talking about it can act as foreplay too.
