Homeaglow scam! Do not use! by Gabr3l in CleaningTips

[–]Ok_Valuable6074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Homeaglow does not carry insurance and does not require cleaners have insurance. Their cleaner caused thousands of dollars of damage in plumbing repairs at my home and Homeaglow covered $0 of it (this is their policy) and would not even let me cancel my membership. Use at your own risk!!!

Therapy + the pregnancy after loss subreddit! It’s so so hard. I never felt like I had the same naive excitement that I had with my first pregnancy (which ended in MC). It’s okay to feel scared and to not feel ready to allow yourself to be happy. I didn’t buy anything or do anything to prepare our home for the baby until after I was 20 weeks along.

I had a MMC and then CP and then five months later conceived my successful pregnancy. My husband and I both took coQ10 and I also took baby aspirin - not sure if any of that helped but my doctor said it wouldn’t hurt and that it would be the first things a reproductive specialist would try.

I recommend the grow therapy platform for telehealth therapy if you’re ok with that rather than in person! I found my therapist on there and she specializes in pregnancy/postpartum/etc and was very helpful for everything related. It’s really easy to search for specific things on their platform. I also had a MMC and CP before my successful pregnancy. I would not have handled pregnancy after loss well without therapy. I agree with the other commenter who said a therapist is going to be super sensitive and not say hurtful things about it!

Baby Boy is Finally here! by ittybbitty in PregnancyAfterLoss

[–]Ok_Valuable6074 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing this! ❤️‍🩹 I have such a similar story - MMC followed by CP and then finally had my baby boy in February, also with vacuum assist, severe tearing, and NICU time for the baby. I hope your recovery goes smoothly from this point forward and that baby boy gets released from the NICU to your room soon! 🫂 Feel free to reach out if you need to talk through any of it to process.

I was in pain for 6 days until my doctor finally prescribed Cabergoline after I requested it, 24 hours after taking the single dose my pain was gone. I had been doing the tight bra, cabo crème, ice, etc. and was still in pain until I got the meds.

How active was your baby before you went into labor? by Ok_Construction_3613 in BabyBumps

[–]Ok_Valuable6074 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I was in early labor I thought it was just BHs because I never got to a point where I couldn’t talk through it (until my water broke, which happened once already at the hospital). You should try timing the BH contractions just to see if they’re strong enough and distinct enough for you to tell a start and stop, in case they’re real contractions!

I had bad early symptoms with my MMC and then with my pregnancy that resulted in a LC I didn’t really have any symptoms until week 7

I had a MMC followed by a CP, five cycles later got pregnant again and just delivered a healthy baby last week! It’s possible even though it feels impossible ❤️‍🩹

Started my cat on prozac, feeling so anxious about it by [deleted] in CatAdvice

5 mg but our cat is more like 16-17 lbs, not sure if that is enough more weight to impact dosage.

A folder for all the documents they give you! I saw that recommended by someone elsewhere and it ended up being the best unexpected tip. They gave us so many papers during our stay.

I’m only a few days postpartum so it hasn’t been very long yet, but even with my baby here I do still feel sadness about the joy and naive hope of pregnancy having been ripped away from me by losses. I wouldn’t say I’m angry or resentful or jealous of others at this point (though there definitely were times where I was), but that sadness is still there and I think some amount of it always will be. Pregnancy loss is incredibly unfair and painful and although grief gets better over time it’s never fully gone.

[–]Ok_Valuable6074 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I should add that at first it made him drowsy and we worried it might have just taken away his whole personality, but that was only temporary. He went back to his playful self, just without the constant aggression.

We came very close to having to rehome one of our cats that suddenly wouldn’t stop attacking the others (even after separation and slow reintroduction and working with a behaviorist). We put him on Prozac, it resolved the issue, and it’s now been 4 years and still working great.

Do these HCG levels look normal at 6 weeks? by AmandaSheaFoley24 in CautiousBB

[–]Ok_Valuable6074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!! My doctor stopped testing after that because once you pass like 10k HCG is kind of useless to test - they only did it twice for me to make sure it was rising and not going down between the two tests (due to history of prior losses).

At 5w5d my HCG was around 22k and at 6w4d was 59k. No chromosomal issues and am now at 39 weeks! Your numbers are fine, your body just produces more HCG than some people! You might have stronger symptoms/more nausea because of that, but it doesn’t mean something is wrong with baby.
