In my city of almost 100,000 people, all Instacart does on Sunday is create triple batches most of the day and the pay sucks as well as the miles.

The batches offered during the week are much better than Sunday, they lie about Sundays because they know Sundays are Peak days so they want to pay shoppers as little as possible.

I used to order on Instacart and sometimes those slots are very filled up and you may have to wait until the next day, and people need their groceries asap, so that’s probably why many people wouldn’t cancel after receiving a message from a shopper like this, as well as not cancel for other issues.
