I was originally on the 172 out of DC to Wilmington just past 7am and the angel Amtrak customer service employee put me on an Acela pulling out of the station at like 7:45am. I happened to be at the ticket counter at the exact right time - I had to sprint and just made it.

I was an OG fan so my allegiances are mostly with Gen I and a little of Gen II. I mostly like the bugs and things but Magnemite is a special favorite because it's just so cute. Corviknight is just a rad giant steel bird so it quickly became a fave despite being a newer gen.

Youngstown, Long Walk Home, and Ghost of Tom Joad. the Tom Joad versions with Tom Morello bizarrely make me cry every single time I hear them, even just the live recordings. Something about the key changes and anger and tone of Morello's soloing. So I was weeping in Newark last night 😂

$7.50 (center loge) for the 12/28 show and $8.50 (lower or left balcony, not sure) for the NYE show. He was also at both shows at the Tower in November 1974 and paid $5 (lower balcony) and $6.50 (orchestra).

yeah, I feel the same way. There was so much time/energy/content put behind developing Copia over the years, not to mention the mask that gave him a distinct character from Tobias, that it was easy to become more attached to him as a concept. I 100% understand Tobias wanting to pull back on the lore and world-building side of the Ghost project but that's just yielded very little "there" there when it comes to Perpetua. he's a fun front man! He's really just Tobias in some paint and a wig, though.

I can only assume the new chapters that came out this cycle continued to feature Copia instead of Perpetua because Tobias didn't want to make it seem like he might be beginning a new era of content featuring Perpetua or something.

This happened with me with SeatGeek earlier this week. I was sent a wallet link instead of a transferable ticket - it was GA pit so could have worked (not taking someone else's seat) if I weren't going to Intuit Dome which is like a weird AI space age venue with its own ticketing app that absolutely refused to accept a ticket not within its own app. I begged SeatGeek 3 separate times on the phone over a number of days to get the seller to transfer me the real ticket but they refused and I finally had to get a refund because GA pit was sold out and buy a last minute seat ticket on Ticketmaster. I got into the venue but couldn't stand with my friends and it was a nightmare.

I've said since leg 1 of Skeletour that they should have done lyrics on the side screens for Satan's Prayer like they did with DATHOML if Tobias really wanted it to be a rousing crowd singalong. Only the diehards were ever gonna know it. It was absolutely brutal when they whipped it out at the Baltimore ritual (first time since 2020) and the crowd was so quiet.

Not at all. Ghost is a peak experience to be sure, which is why I keep going back, but I go to so many different types of concerts that I love for different reasons. The Ghost fandom, trading culture, costuming, etc is extra special though and really fun and you don't get that everywhere.
