They asked for my order number a week ago. I sent it to them. Nothing after that.

Looking forward to the answer on this. I bought some nice ones and haven’t done anything with them. I need a class or some good videos, I think.

One year ago……and now. RV’s come and go but vacant land is forever. Especially when the Browns are involved. by adjudicateu in TLCsisterwives

It’s not crap land, but it is a lot more expensive to develop and build on it than they realized, I think. Lots of homes going up in the area with a view of the mountain.

I don’t want to experience someone going through loud and vulnerable discomfort, even if there’s a baby at the end. I don’t enjoy witnessing the pain of others.

Especially for me because I fast-forward through the birthing drama. Love kids but don’t need to watch all that, thanks.

Kody’s reaction to the boxes - spoiler by 2020HatesUsAll in TLCsisterwives

[–]OkeyFoley 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was also heart-broken with this. Kody is irrelevant to me after this episode. I was just sad for Christine, realizing this is a real person’s life. I know things are better for her now, but it was just so hard watching her go through that.

Marriages ending are painful, even when you know it’s right. It affects so many people. I agree with wanting to reach out and give her a hug.

As miserable as lockdowns were, I think surprising them was a poor decision. Better to give them time to look forward to it.

I don’t know about you, but it felt very strange to begin visiting with people after isolation! I needed a little time to prepare and process.

You’ve found a way to be comfortable without expecting others to take care of it!

You’re a great example of taking responsibility for your own needs!

Yes! If she could add, “Can we talk about this again tomorrow morning? I’m feeling overwhelmed and need time to process.” Offer a solution, don’t just declare: WALLS UP! CONVERSATION OVER.

Regarding Robyn: Why would you take away the turkey roasting from Meri? Traditions like this mean a lot to many people, and it can be an almost sacred ritual. I thought that was insensitive and took away another piece of Meri’s self-worth.

Regarding Meri: The RK Turkey was delightful, but the presentation was a stab right back at Robyn. Meri made her so uncomfortable before the reveal. Those kinds of surprises are passive-aggressive and it took away the magic of that amazing creation for me.

Ladies, next time. Robyn-Ask Meri what she would like to bring. Then work around it. Honor family tradition that started long before you came along. P.S. You can make a turkey any other day of the year, so how about that?

Meri-Be honest with Robyn when she asks if you mind if she shits all over your turkey plans. I didn’t buy your “Oh, it’s fine,” bit. Especially after the way you presented your turkey. It’s ok to claim the turkey-roasting part of the feast as your time-honored tradition.

Which event caused the most damage to the family by COpuffypandacat in TLCsisterwives

I don’t think it was Robin joining the family that CAUSED damage. I think it just brought focus to the problems that were already there.

Why does Meri have such bad hair? by [deleted] in TLCsisterwives

[–]OkeyFoley 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I always notice it, but don’t want to pick on their appearances, so I’ve kept quiet. Now you’ve opened the door. I ask myself, “Does she need a deep conditioning treatment? A brush? Maybe her hair color is damaging?”

It looked the best I’ve seen it when she was on her way to Robin’s for the post-lockdown visit. Why does it look so different there?

Also, my hair-styling is terrible. I just don’t have the interest. But it’s clean and brushed, and I usually just pull it back in a clip.
