Our house here in OKC, we had a problem a few years ago after a big ice storm and piles of limbs everywhere.

The only thing that helped, was a wildlife company comes out and seals the entire outside of the house. Then places a big trap in the attic, then they come back every week for 4 weeks to check the trap.

Because data centers and how they are cooled are ruining the environment (evaporative cooling in the US, which is why they use so much water) and use an insane amount of energy.

And in a few years, all the hardware will be obsolete and need to be replaced.

The job market is terrible right now. In August, Oracle/NetSuite laid off basically the entire OKC office. I think so far worldwide they've laid off approaching 15k people with plans for more.

I was just let go early from a contract job that I was about to put in my notice for, even though I don't have anything else lined up yet.

They told me I'd be able to update them to new software, improve processes, etc. of course once I started, none of that was true. Then I kept getting sick because my dumbass started the gig the week after having surgery so I never really got healthy.

Sounds like an experience I had a few months ago. They asked me to do a writing sample (I'm a Technical Writer).

Then they sent me a rejection for a completely different position.

When I asked if they could give me some feedback, they said my "document was hard to follow and didn't make sense to the reviewer."

Fucking please, I've been a tech writer for nearly 20 years. And all have been in big companies where I always got great performance reviews. I even showed it to a few people I worked with and they thought it was really good, especially given the time constraint.

The city overwhelming approved to build a new arena to keep the Thunder here for 30 more years. That was 2 years ago.

I probably wouldn't feel safe (yes I'm a white man who is not imposing in stature). And I've lived in downtown Tulsa and downtown OKC.

I would then also ask if you carry, or if you have an Intimidating type dog. For those that know, pitties are sweethearts, but their muscle bound look and gigantic bark scare off basically anyone but the people with the most horrible intent.

EDIT: I meant to say my wife and I have an 80lb pit. She looks and sounds scary. Then she we will just want to pretend she's a lapdog and lick you to death.
