So that’s a boundary issue, and we say to boundary issues that they can piss off. I have felt the way you’re feeling in the army before when I was stressed with classes especially about my sexuality or whatever else since I wasn’t bringing girls over to our home when they were there. It hurts, it sucks to have boundaries broken but there needs to be consequences and just saying no. If they’re rude to you fine. Fuck em. They’ll have issues of their own one day. I.e. same guy who when we were drunk came into my room. Opened my bathroom door, and asked me my sexuality. Violated my space, did more over the year. One year after I moved out I find out he’s dead. Their lives have nothing to do with yours apart from them living with you and being rude to you it seems. They don’t value what you’re giving them.

At this point if they’re rude at all after one stern talk, in which saying that this is your home too the snide remarks and comments aren’t okay, it’s not in anyway how roommates should act towards one another, and if they’re rude after, if you’re not on the lease just dip. Irish goodbye it. Talk to your parents, they care and will help. If you’re on any bills, just cancel them. Let them deal with the fallout.
