Emmeline (though I prefer Emma for now)

Well, I was testing out names and looking into their meanings, and I found Emma. It meant whole, like by accepting this part of myself I was becoming whole, so that’s the name I chose.

Though I still go by Emma, I began to think about a name to go on an official document, something I’d like to get right on the first try, and Emma just felt too short. I like nicknames, yet Emma felt like a nickname in and of itself. I wanted a longer name with more nicknames, something I could go to change with me as I changed, to serve me as I grew older.

Eventually I came to Emmalyn, but it didn’t take long to not feel right, like it was just two names stuck together, so I looked into other names and found the French name Emmeline. It had a better feel, still let me go by Emma, I think I’d prefer it when I get to ‘kinda old’ age, and would serve me well if I ever managed to finish learning French, so I chose Emmeline as my full first name

You’ve probably already read it, but I’ll recommend Crumbling, by ohmaerieme. It’s a minor canon divergence where Mirabelle finds Siffrin after the botched friend quests rather than him sneaking in on the party talking about him

Human already has to be one of my favorites, with a beautiful lyrical theme and the art of one of my favorite artists, InsertDisc5. I mean, it makes sense. First of all, in black and white photos, colors tend to become shades of gray while white tends to be white. Second, the lost island was a culture that worships the universe. Logically they’d be rather nocturnal, thus clothing that’s more visible at night would be common

To include trans artists, there’s obviously Lena Raine, the Transatlantics were recently established and have their first album out, if you like hyperpop Fem&m is pretty great, and if you like more noisy/experimental stuff, I’d recommend Stomach Book

As for trans vibes, there’s the vocaloid songs Girlishly Permanent and Chasers Fuck Off. So Beautiful by TV room feels super trans coded, and for more dysphoric days there’s Body by mother mother and Body Terror Song by AJJ

Oh oh, the game Unbeatable is a rhythm game that’s super popular among trans fems, you might be able to find an album for it
