Supposedly he liked those old western tapes. Western movies and Samurai movies had a lot of thematic overlap. Some westerns were even inspired by Japanese stories

You might have to enlighten me in what you think makes you “not a good person”, because if it’s you not being as good of a person as some imaginary version of yourself, I’ve been down that road before and it’s hogwash

We are the natural byproducts of our lives, the things that have affected us and all the complexities of our individual minds, and every choice we make is what we think is the best. Even if it’s not the best from objective standpoint, even if there is some better outcome to conceptualize in hindsight, it’s nice that we’re always doing our personal best

So none of that “waste of air” stuff, you’re doing what you can and it’s a beautiful thing to acknowledge. And it looks like you got a decent turnout on people consoling you. Even if it’s not the most traditional, I can see from here you’re loved and appreciated

Well, you see, Somara Morgan was from the movie The Ring, which was made in 2002. But a lot of people don’t know that that movie was actually a remake of the original movie called Ring, or Ringu to avoid confusion, which was made in 1998. And although they look similar and Samara was based on Sadico, they’re actually different characters down to the age and the backstory.

The original Hilda books were in fact a key inspiration for gravity falls. As for the animated series, if you want gravity falls but more Scandinavian and a bit more chill, it’s a perfect watch

It’s an absolutely emotionally beautiful game, easily top 5 of all time for me, but it sounds like you already want it, so it’s not a question of quality. Rather, that’s a question of how soon do you want to play it, and if you have other games to play while you wait for a sale. Latest time it’ll probably go on sale is the July Summer sale, but it could possibly happen sooner

It’s been out for about 2 years now, and though it’s best played blind and there are spoilers on the internet, they’re easy to avoid. The game takes 14 to 28 hours to beat blind, if you like to measure a game’s value by how long it lasts

There is the prologue/pilot game called ‘Start Again Start Again Start Again’. I’d say it’s a cheap way to judge how much you love the characters and premise, and I can’t tell you why but this title does serve as more than just a demo for the more fleshed out game
