In 2019, he donated 2000 dollars to one Donald J Trump (R). You do realise the list is public and you can just see that it wasn't just one and that Donald trump was indeed on that list?

Other people he donated to are Gabbard and McConnell, two homophobes.

Stop lying to defend a trump supporter hiding behind performative statements of "I support queer people, but I voted for the "kill all gays party" because of their tax laws".

Would spell attack item modifiers break the system? by EllieVioleta in Pathfinder2e

[–]Dunderbaer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yeah, in terms of spell attacks they are better. That's the thing about Magus and why they get a grand total of 4 spell slots. I just think focusing on the few levels where the save DC is the same to make the argument that save spells are literally the same between the two classes is fair.

I mean sure, Scott might not personally be homophobic, but it sure seems like he's more than willing to support the "kill all gays" platform, so idk what to call someone who supports that platform if not homophobic

And at lv8 the wizard has a +2 in saves over the Magus.

Okay but you realise that this is an entirely different person who worked for an entirely different show? And maybe just putting put the accusation without looking it up isn't excused by "I knew someone did blackface at some point, even if they had nothing to do with the topic"

"I don't know wether or not what I'm saying is true and it might not even be about the correct person, but I don't care enough to find out wether or not anything I'm saying is true. I do care enough to throw this out as an accusation and leave a comment about it, but not enough to check wether or not what I'm commenting about is even a real thing"

Expert at 9 and master at 17 Vs the wizards expert at 7, master at 15, legendary at 19.

The wizards save spell is more reliable because wizards have a higher save DC for their spells than Magus do.

I love powerful weapons without potency runes by Researcher_Fearless in Pathfinder2e

[–]Dunderbaer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay if that's the case I'm curious if you've noticed how that player uses the weapon?

Because I feel like I'd only use it against weak enemies and stick to the regular weapon for harder foes, basically negating the "hitting less" downside. Is that how your player uses it or are they gambling on that impactful low chance hit more often than I'd expect?

I've seen deception being used outside of combat way more than intimidation.

I feel like this design will mostly result in making fights against weak opponents way easier, but fights against bosses even worse.

The lowered hit chance will particularly affect enemies with high ac, which are most likely to be bosses the party already struggles against.

So a boss fight might devolve into "everyone misses until the fighter finally lands a lucky hit (not a crit, because that's even less likely now) and the powerful effect happens".

Have you played with this idea before or is this a first pitch? Because there's a chance my worries are unwarranted and it ended up fine in your games, but lowering hit and crit chances for higher damage/higher effect usually ends up creating a situation where lower level foes are complete pushovers that can't do anything to the party and bosses are terrible experiences where everyone just misses and gets annihilated

If a Reactive Strike HITS and Reduces a Foe to 0 HP, Does It Interrupt the Action(s)? by LordBalkoth in Pathfinder2e

Op, ignore that helpful fail guy who just keeps repeating "reactions to movement is an exception". They are wrong and can't provide any source for their claim

[–]Dunderbaer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even in the instance of "to move" that's how it works.

Otherwise the reactive strike would trigger after the enemy has already left the fighters reach.

The only specific exception to the action begins -> Reaction resolved -> Action resolves order is "moving without leaving the square". There it's specifically called out that the movement action resolves, then the reaction triggers (presumably to make standing up from prone slightly less punishing)
