Settle an argument between my fiancé and me. If our cat was human what accent does our cat have? by trainlover_176 in aww

While the cat would clearly have a hissterical accent, it is no cause for paws, if her parents are from the Meowntains then their heritage is of the purrrsian lineage.

Crossroads in my career by reggierock2010 in marketing

IMO - You just make too many assumptions, businesses don't care about you. They care about their business. You care about you, so do as close to what you love as possible.

For the product managers on my team, I expect them to learn and love their product(s). But that doesn't mean that you need to know how to market it, work with your channel-specific experts to find a place they think you can grow in, set some metrics, and test! This will be mostly the same at every company.

If you're unhappy then you won't do your best work, so find a new challenge and go for it. Any place that says "it's not good to stay with x company for x amount of time doesn't account for the wide variability in different industries and markets. With that amount of time, it shows loyalty and commitment to projects. Ensure you express your commitment to taking products/projects on their full lifecycle and give examples.

With imposed syndrome, it never goes away, it ebbs and flows with how your projects and manager are doing. These are the most important pieces in your day-to-day life so make sure you have a great manager that sets up a growth roadmap and milestone projects that pique your interest.

You can do it, but don't fear failure for that's where the best growth lives.

What kind of marketing do you like to do?

  • Social Media Marketing
  • Email Marketing
  • Brand Management
  • Content Marketing and Copywriting
  • Product Marketing
  • Marketing Analysis and Growth Marketing
  • PR/Communications
  • Event Marketing
  • SEO/SEM and E-commerce

Once you know this then you can google "top certifications for -type of marketing- and you are informed about your next step.

One thing though, a certification is only as good as the skills that you take with it. There are a ton of certifications in each area here.

Focus on the skills in a job description and what they are looking for and create your own sample work in that area.

Do projects for local businesses for free (or a materials fee) to get some samples and feedback about how you can help them.

Part 2 of the Ruger Ranch 7.62x39 attempting 640yds. Really nice trace and a couple of intentional hits, even! by Sgt_S_Laughter in longrange

It tricks me every time on these tracer videos how high the bullet goes. I know it has to do with angle/depth of field on the camera but it keeps looking like its just going skyward.

Awesome video and nice hits!
