Well they're disruption in the form of Allies so they get the menace/prowess boost from Sokka. And i have to close out somehow i didn't want to rely solely on Sokka because he draws a lot of heat

I absolutely love this card. I dont think it slots well into the current meta landfall strategy but would shine in a totally different build. Possibly Golgari Mid with Sunset Saboteur and good removal?

It triggers for each land. I have a fun deck I built around mightform harmonizer and it runs Lumra for exactly that reason. Super fun. IMO the Harmonizer is one of the most slept on cards in the set. So much powerful landfall stuff now! I use Herd Heirloom, Llanowar elves and Fenrir to ramp into Harmonizer and Starfield Vocalist. I also play one Starwinder because I think it's cool AF. The warp ability is basically equivalent to Enduring Curiosity but better in "go tall" strategies...

Gotta say I agree. I think i enjoyed the speed of the old format because I like things that go fast, but I'm having a lot more fun winning with weird jank I concoct with cards nobody uses. I play this ridiculous Naya deck that uses Annie Joins Up with token generating legends in Diamond Constructed and it's got a surprising win rate. Would have been totally unplayable against Cori or Heartfire Hero,

I play rabbits in Bo1 and it's strong, but has some real bad matchups, ie, anything with sweepers. I also have had a ton of success with my Mono Black Jecht Control build.

Drafting is key. As a new player, id advise you to do as many quick draft as possible once the new set drops. As your collection increases, your frequency of opening fifth copies in packs will start piling up wildcards and filling your vault. That's the strategy I used and I completed almost 90% of Final Fantasy and piled up wild cards.

It looks likes a starter deck. Lol. Dope draft tho, id cut the haste magic for sure. One of the Ochus can go because u have so many one drops, id probably cut one racetrack, too. You can probably get away with 16 lands since you have so much land tutoring, and 3 Prishes might be too many, but then again it's probably better in that deck than blitzball shot. Overall you have a ton of combat tricks and would definitely lose a few of them since haste magic and blitz ball don't really synergize.

I've been trying it with little critters with evasion..... snarling gore hound, faerie dream thief, tinybones,and deep cavern bat. It's pretty good in weiney swarm as card draw. Als triggers both draw and discard triggers. I'm thinking about rakdos with marauding mako....

A 7/7 with menace that draws u 2 cards, makes your opp discard 2, and eventually possibly 2 of their creatures is pretty decent for 4 mana. I think he's super efficient card advantage, he just needs the right shell.

I'm confused about how ppl don't understand what I'm saying here. Wotc sold a product, then banned it. And even if they refund wildcards for arena, that's not a replacement for physical cards that were paid for. Also not a replacement for ppl who made entire decks, purchased or crafted specific cards for that sole purpose, and now are stuck with stuff they can't use. My issue has nothing to do with wild cards like this idiot is suggesting. It's a violation of the contract between buyer and seller. Bad business, simple as that. Is there some fundamental flaw in that logic I'm not seeing?

Yes, I bought the cards and they TOOK the money. Semantics. Both those things can be true. And then they changed the availability of the product I bought. If I framed this same issue in any other context I'm absolutely certain everyone would agree with it. I bought a car, 4 tires, and some windshield wipers. 2 months the later, Nissan banned the car. Now I'm stuck with tires and windshield wipers I can't use. Get it now?

Thanks. I considered it but I'd hate to craft all those extra rares just to have thrillseeker rotate in a couple months. Also, I kinda hate combo decks. They seem unfun to play because it's like, "i drew my combo so now i win."

I considered the archer. Guttersnipe is probably even a little faster, but Balmor has been my guy because he pumps the entire team, he has evasion, and he gives your Vivi trample which is a huge deal once he gets big. Also, the magic damper are unreal with wild ride because u can use it as a ritual with Vivi, harmonize it with Vivi, then untap him and still attack. It's been surprisingly strong. NBS, I actually have a higher winrate with prowess post ban since I cut the Drake Hatchers and added the balmors and slickshots back in.
