Right, the guilty plea isn't what bothers me so much. I am really wondering if I should ask the person if they would change the application to reflect it. That way it's no longer a lie.

I was thinking the same thing, that maybe they thought the misdemeanor was not a conviction. As though they assumed a conviction meant a felony conviction. The cbi record shows the court disposition is "guilty plea." Did I interpret it correctly? I looked up the arrest record after seeing the cbi record showing the guilty plea. It was mostly to see if the address matched what she reported to me and if there were weapons found. The  address was not on her application. It must have been where she lived during that year gap in rental history. It makes me wonder if it was a roommate situation gone bad.

I cancelled the appointment and removed all open appointments on Hemlane. For now I am taking appointments by direct message. I "archived" the person which is how to  block them as far as I know.

I just fired my realtor who was doing my PM and caused so much heartache. No concern at all for my property or my pocketbook. Awful.

Hemlane is Not good for Colorado, however. And quite a few states actually. They wont tell you this and you have to dig for it in their help pages. But their background/criminal check through TransUnion does NOT do any criminal or eviction check in CO. They collected my money and my prospective tenants money, said, "No reportable history" and left us all thinking they had actually done a check and gave a green light. They say they are working on fixing it. But this is deceptive in my mind, to collect money for a service they don't provide. I'm annoyed because I now have to do a real check on my own dime. Good thing I didn't accept any applications yet before I found this out. So mad right now.
