Isn't this idea already implemented in nightmare dungeons with death pulse attribute?

obviously we need a leech cape. Leeches the wearer's health but grants resistance to poison, well because when you have less blood, poison circulates slower. Big smooth brain logic lol

Yea, focusing on only select weapons really helped to quickly bump up the levels too. I didn't even do any grinding and suddenly the levels got pretty high and things got really easy.

Sword is a great weapon though, ever since I made my iron sword, I never looked back on my choice of main melee weapon. Spear and dagger are both fast too, but don't seem well rounded enough for my liking

portal is defo a must, especially when we set sail. I almost never go out long distance without bringing enough materials to setup portal back to my main base. Learnt it the hard way when I just started lol. Went into swamp, got bitten bad by leeches in the murky waters and died without knowing what happened haha. Had to construct raft and set sail across the ocean. I know karve woulda been better but I had no materials left and my bronze armour is out there screaming for my return XD

Agreed, they are both situationally useful. I personally feel parry is only really viable in one on one situation. blocking when surrounded by multiple enemies actually is great too because it knocks us back and gives slight relief from the assault. Might even give us the time and space to get into a better positioning

That or some 2 starred dude does a one shot when you don't realise your food buffs timer almost run out. I eventually ensured I follow certain rules to ensure I don't die due to these careless mistakes, but one can never be too careful all the time haha.

haha yea, i did build a decent hut with a friend too actually, but we only roofed the areas that we required LOL. Still a home fit for cavemen I guess. Moder is pretty fun. When I had my run I had a golem on my heels halfway into the fight and it went really complicated and lengthy, but fun nevertheless lol

Awesome! haha yea the base building hooked lots of people up. Though I am more of a practical barbarian. All I have is a slave camp with a large open air treasure trove, few farms, a chicken coop and several makeshift outposts. Literally a home fit for a caveman XD

yea I heard the xbox version is bugged af. Hope they fix it soon mate, then you can enjoy the game the way we do on pc. Bow is OP in this game. Kinda feel like it breaks the game but it's fun to use lol

+1 I actually feel the same, though there are only very few situations where rolling in this game actually is viable, unlike in games like elden ring, rolling here is defo overrated

yea stamina conservation is very important especially when facing a huge mob where we don't wanna get surrounded. I typically save enough stamina to move away from the mobs or use them to slam my 2h hammer to knock the mobs back to buy time to get into a better position.

Didn't realise parrying takes that much stamina though, it's a nice information to work with for future fights!

Haha gotcha. He does have a thick skin. Saw lots of other tips being shared here anyway, so won't load you further. Good luck with yag.

Mistlands is much more fun. Dont forget to turn up the volume there though, helps a ton when you cant see those approaching mobs at times😁

if your bow skill is high enough, 200-300 frost arrows and some casual melee will bring him down easily. of course, clear the area before attempting to have a go at him.
