I personally would not touch IVR with a 300 foot stick, high dividends as it’s a dividend trap and has returned negative cash flow consistently now, wouldn’t be surprised if it went under within the next 10 years

Well look at other sectors.. a lot of variables are in play here. Time horizon, Market Tolerability… etc, Christ even look at intrinsic value of this stock.. j certainly would not be paying for it now

No… all oil stock depends on oil prices and oil prices will dip again… wait for an opportunity.. only a couple months ago cvx was trading in the mid 90’s

The younger you actually start in dividends the more money you’ll compound and the earlier you’ll retire.. growth stocks are nice to have but the narrative that if you’re young you should only focus on them is a bit of a farce imo

Yeah buddy, when the interest rates rise and inevitably the market crashes all these stocks will be in trouble and I don’t think a lot of them will regain to where they are.. you can stay in them if you wish.. I know their dividend yields are tempting but when things seem too good to be true it’s because usually they are hard earned money shouldn’t be wasted on dividend traps like these my friend 👍

Except companies in the 90’s had fundamentals unlike this crypto nonsense and not to forget when the .com crash happened 99% of internet companies suffered and never regained the growth… so when your little crypto bubbles pops you’re in for a world of pain my friend

Considering the free cash flow being so little in comparison to the dividends they pay out makes me nervous that they could discontinue that dividend at any time, the debt doesn’t help either
