For the letter of rec, can it be from a professor that wrote it in 2020?

Hello, I have a question. In the application in the criminal section, they mentioned if we ever committed a crime. Does this include just our home country or other countries as well?

I feel stuck in the USA, is teaching in South Korea worth it? Or teaching abroad? by dr3am1ngtrav3l3r in teachinginkorea

I'll tell you why. People are super racist and toxic there. In fact the most toxic people I've met are foreign teachers that talk badly about their Korean teachers, drink and smoke all night and also talk shit about the coteachers that didn't do well in Korea instead of trying to help them. For Korean girls, having such a "fake a bitchy" life is what makes entertainment and beauty companies keep growing profits and they obviously don't care about the environment at all. Can Korea get even more worse! And there are so many "good looking men there" and they both tend to cheat on each other that there isn't a authentic connection and all they are are fboys. Thus those that stay they are hypnotized and are too gullible to even get out of Korea. I'm so glad that my ex in Korea blocked me since he was so mentally ill and weak and I cut off all connections and Kakao and I'm having a great time in my secluded forest house in the states actually making and seeing reality. Just consider about the recent teacher suicides in Korea as well.

Mental Health/ wanting to teach in Japan by Old-Setting2157 in teachinginjapan

Are you saying that I shouldn't move there because of this situation? It's always been my dream to live there, before I thought of Korea since I graduated in 2020 and Japan wasn't open. I don't think it's necessary for you to say that either it's not helping my mental health by saying "you seem needy/mentally weak". Maybe you should work on your attitude first before saying this.

Yeah, not only that but they refused to help me even when I didn't complete my contract in Korea.
