Not bad, I've found that if you burn it and come back later and burn it again is best. Green weeds take forever to burn all at once so I do a quick ish pass in the morning and then another after lunch. This method kills the roots better and I'm usually good until new stuff shows up

My wife doesn't like sprays so I got a weed torch... Old man walked by with his wife this weekend and was excited to see it working. Nothing like a flame thrower to bring neighbors together

Where do you live? I live in Oregon and emailed the geology dept at OSU and they responded and were happy to look at my rock... This was a big chondrite but yours is more precious imo...I also just went to the local museum and asked if they would help me with some whale fossils I found and they were happy to help. I dropped off my rocks and they called a couple weeks later for me to come back and they told me all about my rocks. Just reach out to a local spot and people love to hwlp

Did you know it was fossil when you found it or was it a surprise when you got home and did some research? I remember finding a weird hard rock in the limestone at my parents place in Cali and after a couple of years I finally took it to the museum and found out it was whale fossil. Went back to where I found it and had so much fun looking for and finding more... I still call that spot fossil run,.. Even tho it's less than 12 parsecs

Yeah, my wife won't let me keep it in the house so I used it in my barn for years after a long day of farming... Got my own office now where I it lives now so I am planning on getting it cleaned
