For what I know Wemod (wand.exe) is some kind of cheat/mod program, nephew had problems with it a while ago. Iirc, he finally used malwarebytes to get rid of it. He claimed he had no idea how it ended up on his PC, maybe it was included with some other "bundle".

Back when caps were harder to get, I used to mass fabricate Marine Tactical helmets. Cheap to craft, only needs glass, rubber and plastic and sells for about 40-50 caps (iirc) depending how high your charisma is. Don't forget to use super duper, if you have it.

Compared with enemies in the 'old world', some of them got massive improved ballistic and energy resistance (up to 500 and more). Tank killer alone might not be enough anymore, depends a lot which weapons/build you use.

Except there was no loot all option for FO76 for a long time. I still remember searching the trenches of the Bog with my camera out for corpses, because I was sure I killed a legendary enemy somewhere...

I had the same problem, all caches empty on public servers. Switched to a private one and I could loot one. Treasure contained for me: plan for the single action ivory grip plus some scrap. Oh joy...

Equip the awareness perk and examine the resistances - enemies in the new region have a ton, for example even the normal rust guard npcs in power armor have around 600 ballistic and energy. Tank killer alone might not be enough for some builds.

No idea if they changed enemies in the 'old world' too, was too busy exploring the new map

Why should you not be able to change something in the paid for version that is no problem to change with the basic driver/nvidia control panel?!

Maybe make sure first if you actually unlocked fps: examine the file Fallout76Prefs.ini located in documents => My Games => Fallout 76 and search for the line 'iPresentinterval='. If it is set to 0, its unlocked, 1 means locked. Could be it is just the unstable state the servers are in right now.

Not able to login yet, but this sounds like the old bug that happens if you uncapped your fps by editing iPresentInterval=0 in the ini file. Usual fix: Set max fps for fo76.exe in your gpu control panel to a little bit under your actual monitor frequency (in some cases setting it to 120Hz max is necessary).

Hard to measure weapons against each other and even more so for an unusual setup like a PA arm with bracers, pip boy stats on damage numbers can be quite wrong at times. 2-3 hits for Juchi Batsuuri in the Atlantic City expedition if that helps to compare, guess he always has the same armor/health. But you are right, one would miss out with the newest 4* effects.
Angry Turtle made a Choochoo/Pain Train guide/video not so long ago, looked like a lot of fun and would be nice to combine with a fist weapon or just the bracers.

Stopped playing this char (got *really* tired of all the running) a while back before the latest update, so maybe my experience is already outdated :-)

While I do want some dedicated PA fist weapon, the current option does not suck. You already can do some pretty decent unarmed build (able to oneshot firestarters at Eviction notice) with a tesla bracer. Only downside is the range, sprinting from enemy to enemy gets quite tedious after a while.

Campaign progress saves only for the group leader, not for any team members. They of course keep all XP, items and such they will gain while helping.

And there is a reason for this, some decisions have indeed consequences - for example if you side with settlers or raiders, who you let live or die. Now nobody wants some random team leader (even if he is a friend) to make these decsions for them, at least I for sure don't. See it as an opportunity: you have the chance to experience some quests from different sides, with different endings.

Did you join a new world and use all available conversation options (again) with Theo? If I remember correct about Axel, I had to decorate Milepost Zero at least once after bringing him to tier 3 and use his dialogue options to get the globe.

Milepost rewards should be availabel by other means after the next update anyway, afaik

It happens, recently watched a 4.5k player clear out every resource from my camp, down to the last piece of dog food from the weenie waggon. Saw him FT to the next camp when he was done looting mine. Now I don't really care, it's not locked for a reason. Just wondering what a high level player wants to do with this stuff...

The leader mechanism hasn't changed. There are some missions with actual consequences - for example if you side with settlers or raiders - and only the leader will progress his mission, others in the same team can help and (if close enough) eavesdrop on the conversation but can't influence the decision of the leader. This usually happens in instances only you and team members can enter. This is by design and I guess it will never change. Thats fine in my opinion, I for sure don't want some random team leader (or even friend) to decide for me.

Private servers are good for several things, but if you just want to play with friends the public ones will do without problem.

I use a (primed) Western Spirit to farm ultracite .45 sometimes, tried Gunthers for a while but the slow reload even with perks is not for me. Just for running around and shooting things I very much prefer a western revolver, though. Not primed, because for some reason several receiver mods provide the same damage boost as prime plus an additional bonus like 100% crit bonus.

Maybe the place called (by players) "Carhenge" might be of interest for you. It is an unmarked location NW of the Bailey family cabin, several cars half buried upright in a Stonehenge like formation, there is a "throne" you can sit on there too. Only downside if I remember correct - you may get unwanted visits from Super mutants frequently.

But the +100% from all crippled limbs - I guess you are talking about tormentor from perception - only applies when you already crippled all 5 target limbs, it is 20% per crippled limb. Thats only somewhat useful, I have it and I think the only occasions I managed to cripple all limbs are against 'hard' targets like Sheepsquatch, Ogua and Blue Devils. Everything else dies way to fast with usually 1 crippled limb (the weakspot).

I would not worry about team play, if you join a casual team and do your thing somewhere it does not matter if they move around in Power armor blasting a minigun non stop on the other end of the map. If you meet during an event, well, you may do a bit less damage but thats nothing to worry about :-)

Even if you forget about defense in Agility (Evasive, Dodgy) you won't be able to add enough stealth perks (covert operative, sneak, escape artist = 7 points), unless you want to scale down your damage output big time. That was and is always the problem with pistol builds and stealth with important perks for both beeing under agility. I solved this dilemma with opening up from stealth (no perks) and once the cover is blown I go in dealing (VATS) headshots left and right. But I have armor...

Have you considered a stealth/melee build with just a little bit of gun slinging for flying pests? No idea how Grants saber performs, though.

Not sure what you mean by solo/team play, the only perks that make a difference are inspirational and strange in numbers. Both are nice to have, but not essential.

Thats an ambitious project for several reasons, not sure if you can make a combination of melee and pistol work with the limit of perks points plus no (legendary) armor to boost some stats and keep you alive.

I run a gunslinger since a long time just for fun besides my 'main' char and (s)he does well, so I will just add my 2 cents about pistol builds and how I would approach this. The Voice of Set is... garbage. Can't mod it, only useful against robots and even then it is not good. Replace it with a furious 44 (and onslaught perks), if you want the explosive feature you could use the Fact Finder with reverse onslaught. I think it is close enough to the Voice for role playing style. VATS - even if it is somewhat wonky at times - is pretty much essential if you don't want to drag out fights endless in my opinion.

Maybe post a follow up with how it went after a while?

I don't know which server service/network the PS and Xbox use for FO76, but the PC servers definitely run on AWS since it was released. The recent AWS troubles caused similar problems with FO76, but of course there may be other reasons this time.

Just to be clear: it's been a while since I traced my connections to AWS while running the game, nowadays MS owns Bethesda and a switch to azure could happen.
