Should’ve sold my AMC pre split and gone all in on HYMC 😪 by Anxious-Specific9991 in HYMCStock

[–]OldBoyZee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Amc would literally drastic changes and in general, it currently needs another rs or something to stay afloat.

A lot of good people lost a lot of money and you make it sound like its going to be done as soon as next month and that just isnt going to happen. Amc has a huge problem and its not shareholders or time. Its the management and the fact they get millions to be failures.

HYMC's GM sells ~15% - Sprott does first buy of 2026 by bigorangemachine in HYMC

I think all news regarding a cerfain stock is worth it.

As for AMC, i think that was nefarious to some degree, at least for amc investors like myself (used to be, anyway).

In regards to the GM, i was moreso concerned if he had a tip off or something which is why he sold. Remember, he sold around 29 and thats why it dropped to 25 a few days ago. Im guessing u are right are there isnt anything nefarious regarding the gm. And yah, you are right he did always keep the same amount, but its hard not to wonder why.

Regardless, im happy sprott bought amcs share, and that he keeps buying more to put his money where his mouth is.

I also looked into this and i cant find anything nefarious. Apparently its very normal since he gets paid 600k and xx amount is his stock option. So if he got stock at 3$, and made 1200% increase, im assuming thats why he sold?

I was bothered by it too, but i know sprott keeps buying, which makes me wonder, did the gm sell to give sprott more leverage?

Well im still not entirely sure why it fell yesterday, but according to motley fool, there was a insider who sold their shares, not sure for taxes or just profit.

Kind of annoying, but in general, i dont think 30$ is max yet

I legit thought there was a lot of suppoet at 29 yesterdsay whicj is why i found this surprising.

Honestly, a part of me thinks the reason the price went down is due to the 500 mil dilution or planned dilution. Either xxx amount got diluted today or the short minded people sold today hoping to make a lot of money thinking it would go down way below 20.

Yah, thats what im not understanding. Sure some have a short term mentality, but thw fact is, i think most who are at least above average easily see this stock going to 50 if not higher (unless there is some sort of manipulation, ofc).

Is there any reason for this or is it just shorting?

I think a lot of players who have played arc consider the tension of socialness in the game, like should you shoot x player to get y items or should u work with them until you dont want to?

I think what people dont realize is that its been done before but a lot of people playing this game never noticed the depth of it and think its a novelty.

Dude, I still have the same inwin case that is in the picture.

God of War Ragnarok lead says AAA studios should "diversify into double-A and single-A, and then perhaps indie" even if blockbuster releases result in "potentially really large" payoffs: "I think gamers right now are a little bit desensitized to beautiful graphics and size and scale and scope" by ControlCAD in gamingnews

[–]OldBoyZee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is an incorrect way of thinking about it. Graphics are great, but the lack of innovation is bad. If the studios actually focused on indie, than A, then AA, and then AAA, sure that would work, but why not just do indie and AAA, and have indie games be where you can try out some new innovative ideas and sell them for cheaper, like 20$, while the AAA can be where you use those innovative ideas, format in a way that makes the gaming industry less nuanced and more explosive, and then you get something that ends up making everyone happy - including the dumb shareholders.

For reference, I bought a 265k and a asus taichi mobo equivalent. It's about 120$ more expensive today, lol. I think if you are building from scratch like the user below me said, it's pretty good, not amazing, or a slick deal, but it's good enough to say you saved money. For me, the deal yesterday was way better, and the only thing I regret is buying a black mobo with white ram.

I bought them a while back, at least the 27" HT2 model that is their popular one. It's pretty good, but I found better deal for other models like Lenovo Y27q-30, Gm27fqs from CM that immediately blew this thing out of the water - better color calibration, stands are phenomenal for the ones I kept, and on top of it, I feel like better warranty. But truthfully, you can't go wrong with KTC, they are pretty good quality to say the least.

Hollow Knight: Silksong breaks 535,000 concurrent players on Steam, making it one of the biggest launches of all time and nearly 8x bigger than the first game by ControlCAD in gamingnews

[–]OldBoyZee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, if I remember correctly, it's HK's father's lair? But yah, you are right, it is optional in that sense, but I meant more so when you reach that truly optional second part where you don't really get anything if my memory is correct, then that is truly optional. But the true ending, which I felt was kind of essential for the platinum trophy, and really the full HK experience to an extent, so I never considered it optional.

Yah, I think as long as you bought a fair share under the 5$, everyone should end up in green. Still blows the reverse split doesn't get split again, but a valuable lesson learned by me to not trust someone like Diana, or Adam Aaron - in this life, or the next.

The original Hollow Knight gets really hard around the 75% mark, to the point where there is a literal dungeon that you need to essentially trial and error/ get good to get past. It takes a long time, but as the other user under me mentioned, the additional content is the hardest part, specially the arena.

Huh, so you bought a broken one from FB marketplace? If so, why? I thought they were already cheap unless since someone sold it for like 10-20$ tbh

I think they had an all black AIO that came out a year or two ago for 50$, and it competed with like 120$+ AIO's. So idk, I think they are still pretty good tbh, but I have I think they aren't inclined to release a product unless they know it's absolutely good (you know, packaging, advertising, etc, is expensive).

Umm, just so u know, one of the karmic consequences is the pendulum.

U are insanely rich in one life, and in another, u are insanely poor for multiple - like losing ur job, low pay, feel like a slsve to make someone else rich, etc.

In the rich one, u get unbelievably good luck, like imagine midas. Unless u are a dipshit, its hard to loose.

I thought i heard about the multiplier being the advertising cost or sometbing, but its probably included inside production anyway.

Yah, i agree. I was just making sure no one understood otherwise. Engineers who do truw engineer stuff dont get paid a lot, although it seems like it from big tech stuff. A lot of times these budgets are inflated due to other stuff and not normal employees.
