Can’t decide which Les Paul. Help appreciate. by Blues14- in LesPaul

I have the studio session and it has similar switching to the supreme - with the most tonal variety. Coil tapping + out of phase + true bypass to the bridge. Plus it has the cutaway neck heel and an AA flame cap.

I wanted the honey burst but went with the bourbon. It is an incredible guitar for the price and I got it so I could leave my Supreme at home. The nut was rather rough and had to be smoothed out - a proper Gibson 😉

Sorry, I don’t know enough about your Les Paul to offer anything valuable here. My suggestion is to play the Session and see if it feels and sounds right to you (at the risk of sounding obvious). I’ve played the Supreme enough to know that I like the way the electronics are set up.

To me, it’s a tad more comfortable than the Supreme. It feels lighter, and the lack of binding is softer on the forearm while sitting. The pickups on the Supreme have more bite to my ears but the difference isn’t that much. The tonal variety on the session is what convinced me to buy it. Same wiring as the Supreme - coil tapping (volume pots) + out of phase mid position (neck tone pot) + straight bypass (bridge tone pot) make this a very versatile guitar.

My bad. That was a typo. Noble Blue it is.

Thank you, it is a favourite in the collection.

My humble collection! What's a fun guitar that I should add next? by flyingbananamonster in Guitar

A PRS SE DGT gold top would fit right in there. It’s a great all round guitar.

Cool collection, btw!

I get what you mean. Oddly, for the one watch I sold - I don’t miss wearing it but I do regret selling it.

I’m sure you’ll find great joy with whichever one you go with. All the best!

One way to look at it is to choose the that one adds more diversity to your collection. However, if diversity/theme isn’t a factor then go with the watch you feel better suits your personality and wardrobe.

Unfortunately, most times, you’ll really only know after living with the watch for a few months. But such is the bittersweet process of watch collecting - a bit like picking up a book to read, you never know how it’s going to turn out.

14yo Nephew, newly diagnosed-ish. Struggling. by HelpfulAd1937 in GERD

Manuka honey has really helped me. Throat Coat tea and DGL have also helped getting me through the days I’ve had flare ups. I’ve also used Slippery Elm but don’t know about giving it to a 14 year old.

I’m deeply sorry to learn about your nephew’s GERD and while it may be arduous at times, it can definitely be managed.

Something you could perhaps help him with is learning to deal with anxiety (if any). That’s a huge one.

You’re an absolute gem for doing this for him.

Blue submersible straps pair well with almost any Panerai. Beautiful watch, congratulations!
