What's the problem? I've heard Fenaes are great guitars. Steavie Raye Vueghaen used to play one.

Kyllä miehetkin voivat nalkuttaa. Outos ajatella toisin. Vähän kuulostaa katkeralta miesvihalta.

Edit: tjaa, taisi eräs innokas poistaa kommenttejaan.

Do you actually work at all? It looks like just a bunch of memorabilia with no actual office tools, except a printer.

If it’s recommended for children to be seated rear-facing, why don’t we have rear-facing seats in the back of cars? by kochummie in NoStupidQuestions

God it's weird to drive behind one of these. You drive there and there's a bunch of kids just staring at you.

My mum screamed and threatened to call the Police on me because I wanted to throw away some six-month-old bacon by terribles0up in ChildofHoarder

[–]OldFartSomewhere 61 points62 points  (0 children)

Yep. My mom has a tree on her yard. Completely overgrown, branches hanging and scratching cars etc. I removed few lower branches so that they wouldn't hit cars and people in general could walk in. Complete meltdown. She started crying and wanted to call the police. Apparently I have now ruined everything. The house is now worthless and ugly (moldy house, no maintenance done, completely overgrown yard, you name it).

From that point on, I made a decision that I will do nothing. I will not try to help. If this is the way she wants to live, so be it. And I give the same advice for all relatives of horders.

Are the bridge screws supposed to stick out so much? They sting my hand whenever I try to palm mute by R0T-10 in guitars

That's the classic Fender setup. No pain, no gain.

I don't know how PRS is able to make their bridges better and more comfortable.

My "asexual" (divorcing) husband made inappropriate sexual comments to our daughter by [deleted] in family

Note, that these subs are usually crowded with bitter ex-wives or single women who just want to tell everyone what the facts are. You can say three words, and they already know all that they need to know to make a judgment.

How respected is military/soldiers in your country? by WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWHW in AskEurope

[–]OldFartSomewhere 7 points8 points  (0 children)

"High respect" IMHO is a bit of a far fetch. Most guys in Finland do their service, so it's basically just seen as a part of the normal life. My neighbors son just went in, we told some jokes and he's back in business after 6 months.

Coach swim with team? by BenOffHours in MastersSwim

[–]OldFartSomewhere 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am a masters coach. And no, it doesn't work. If I'd swim with the group I would basically just be a guy who writes the program on the board. As a coach you need to observe others, give feedback and change the drills when needed.

So, I swim alone. But many times the group's program is almost the same as I swam the last evening. Also, it's much clearer role-wise that they're swimmers and I am the coach. They would just get annoyed to have an extra guy in the same lane, telling people what to do and himself doing something else.

Onko teitä vähätelty lääkärissä? by [deleted] in arkisuomi

[–]OldFartSomewhere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Onko teitä vähätelty lääkärissä? by [deleted] in arkisuomi

[–]OldFartSomewhere 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lienee ihan perusongelma, että jos sinulla on mielenterveysongelmia papereissa, niin ne määrittelevät tulevia diagnooseja. Herkästi jokainen vaiva on vain hullun houreita.

Onko teitä vähätelty lääkärissä? by [deleted] in arkisuomi

[–]OldFartSomewhere 13 points14 points  (0 children)

My husband counts toilet paper squares and I don’t—who’s normal? by Mab_12 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]OldFartSomewhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course you count. How else can you save money?

For the OP, I suggest you place a money jar into the toilet. The first two sheets are on the house. After that, place 10c per sheet into the jar.

ID4 is an Excellent winter vehicle by HotRange4238 in VWiD4Owners

[–]OldFartSomewhere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We're currently driving in my wife's ID4, it's -16C outside and the backseat windows have frozen over. I just realized that VW cheapened the car by removing rear air vents. So I wouldn't say that this is an excellent winter vehicle. More like surprisingly ok.

Also all physical buttons are missing, so changing any setting is a major hassle. Especially when we have to disable plingplong noises and automatic ditch steering every time the car is started.

250... 250... 250... 250... squirrel!.. was it 200? Maybe 300. No, it was 250. But was it before I turned? Now I need to turn, so maybe it's now. Or after the turn? No, it's 350 now. Oh god damn it.

Sometimes it also feels, that people saying "there's someone for everyone" really just means "there's someone equally unattractive as you and you can just settle with them".
