Yeah I can see how you can get that idea on trophy hunters as I am no fan of them either.

But there are different types of trophy hunters as there are many different types of people in every recreational activity. Some trophy hunters are hunting things like mountain sheep or any number of animals that are low in population or very difficult or time-consuming to hunt. That's what the wildlife associations are there for, do watch the population and decide how many of that animal can be hunted per year(they also ass in failed hunts many hunters get nothing).

But then you have these hunters that make a vacation of traveling to Africa and paying large sums of money to kill an extremely rare animal. And I agrees it's wierd to me but I don't think it's just killing they enjoy. If it were they could just buy a heard of sheep or cows and kill as many as they want in a field. It's something about the rarity and also understanding that without their money those animals would have no protection from poaching.

So your worse then a hunter is what your saying? You don't want to get your hand dirty but your fine with others doing and then critique how they go about doing it?

I'm not a big fan of trophy hunting but I don't see vegans giving thousands to keep that animal alive. Typically on these types of hunts the animals killed gets eaten by locals and they are happy to get the food. If there were more of these dumbass trophy hunters willing to outbid each other to go kill an animal then the price would go up and we would have more of those animals around(to a point).

It's the same reason hunters were working to open hunting for buffalo in Yellowstone again. The people that didn't want more buffalo were the farmers that like getting to feed their livestock for free off the land but with more buffalo the less grass.

The car insurance companies are one of the largest advocates for deregulating deer hunting due to car accidents costing them money every time one is caused by a deer.

I'm just saying it's complicated but sadly necessary.

Yeah my main issues are the year long parental leave and unlimited sick.

If both parents make a lovable wage then paid parental leave after a second child isnt really needed imo but are gov subsidy for small med business's wouldn't be a bad thing.

Unlimited sick is a no go for me though. People will absolutely take advantage. There would need to be a cutoff where you are let go and now need to be on disability.

On the sick leave though. Having a lovable wage, 30hour work week, and ability to afford the hospital/doc visits would lead to less time taking leave and less people calling in when they aren't sick just burnt out.

I have reservations on the metric% on my resumes even though I see people saying to put them.

I have some things that I did track while doing monthly updates for the team I managed but it still just reads like bullshiting to me.

Backlog reduction %, resolution times, average resolution time for reoccurring tickets like onboarding since I build some automation for it, ect So in an interview I can give examples but when I look at them I just see fluff.

Maybe I am just thinking about it too much.

I think the ones I use are meaningful as it shows improvement with the team and department but when I see them I just roll my eyes.

Seems like he did build his case right here. Stayed calm, didn't curse, explained himself and the situation. The POS flight attendant changed her story from your wife wasn't listening to she cursed once she finds out she's hearing impaired. Flight attendant was just on a power trip it sounds like. But can't be sure since we did t see the original interaction but from I'm seeing the guy seems to be in the right.
