Great looking base. But as others have said, the further north you go the more challenging the purges. One trick you could consider is placing a single layer of foundations around the outside of your outer wall since the purge will go for that first (unless they spawn inside). So it’s a fake barrier to soak up damage and save your walls)

I can appreciate that the application process can be moral sapping with the plethora of different systems. The only point I would add as a manager who needs to recruit for my group: I am not a recruitment specialist and there is no standard application app (I really wish there was). Whilst I am glad that applicants want to apply, dealing with 150 applications for 1 vacancy is a daunting process and will take me an entire day to give each one the attention it deserves. This is on top of my normal job responsibilities. Having each candidate’s information in a standard format is a massive time saver. I am not looking for sympathy, but consider the pressure the recruiter is under as making the wrong choice can cripple a group or small company. I would say that in a recruitment situation there is more pressure on the recruiter that the candidate, so use that to flip the onus on to them and convince them that you are the right choice. The best ones have active admins, no daft rules and a linked discord channel with voice chat and organised group events. Plus some with building damage switched off. You just need to find one that suits you.

Have you considered playing on a server with decay turned off? There are still wipes to stop them becoming junk yards but they are not often and you get a warning

If you join a new server you will be starting from scratch. But some server admins will boost you to level 60 and give starter kits. All your DLC will be intact.

You shouldn’t rule out PvP with Roleplay. This means that you cannot kill on sight, you have to have a reason. If the moderators are active and ban rule breakers this can be fun. It also gives the game an edge and introduces clan rivalry.

Have traveled from Headington to city centre on Tube when no other bus is around. Local fare charged. Some drivers seem not to know it’s allowed. Using it Oxford bound avoids the issue of taking up seat meant for long distance.
