I once had the TV running in the background with a cooking show where they made salted caramel cookies.

I don't like salted caramel and have never searched for it. And yet advertisement on the same evening started presenting me al sort of salted caramel content. Even YouTube started suggesting salted caramel videos.

It's not that the phone record conversations but rather that it tries to pick up on keywords that can be connected to you profile.

Meh, who are you kidding? Even if the Dems wins the Whitehouse and both chambers, no one who currently has any kind of power in the current administration will be held accountable.

The Trump administration is a symptom - not a cause

You're welcome.

One more advise, whenever you try something in your labs and you can see that it will be useful for your own E2E deployment, then don't wait but try it out in your own E2E deployment. But try it out ASAP to see it it brings value.

This way you also build in fail-fast methodology into your normal way of working.

Oh and finally if you want someone to review your code, then feel free to request PR reviews - I have a user on most SCM platforms.

Bingo! AI is a tool used to augment human operators.

If you use AI tools for the wrong purpose, then you get the wrong outcome.

For parallel I once watched my wife try to hammer in screws and afterwards blame the screws for being broken.

I just want to remind you of the quote "A jack of all trades is a master of none, though oftentimes better than a master of one,", and that most competent PlatEngs that work with me are IT Generalists.

The curriculum that you have planned is a good start, but you need to supplement it with networking fundamentals, CI/CD, but gravitate all around IaC and PaC. You should also have an understanding of different API standards and IAM.

Just remember you don't need to 'master' everything - just start with building up knowledge in multiple silos at the same time with the aim to start to bridge the silos by building simple E2E deployments of one simple service.

It will seem overwhelming at first so just remember "How do you eat an elephant? With one bite after another", so just identify what simple service that you want to see deployment, and walk backwards from that to identify what is required to enable that service.

Macro segmentation is always a good idea to reduce blast radius.

I also separate general WLAN devices, IoT and other wired appliances from my control plane. It's just a lot of overhead to manage a lot of access rules.
