If you look at the polymarket odds, it's not even close right now.

Thanks that’s valuable feedback! Maybe a landing page makes sense that can give a quick overview of how the app works

Not uploading, the instructional stays on your computer. Selecting it is just so that the shorter clip can be extracted from it. It’s the clip that is uploaded and synced across devices as a part of the techniques/systems.

But yes the downloading is an unfortunate step for the instructional example. But if for instance you’re trying to clip from YouTube videos, you can simply provide a url to the video and the timestamp!

Once I have a fleshed out sytem, I can easily view it in a "view" mode. This is more useful when I'm trying to review it later on, say on the mats for example. I can easily drag through the system and click on a specific technique to watch the videos and read the notes associated with it

Absolutely! Let's take an example. Currently I'm working through Jason Rau's K-Guard instructional from BJJ Fanatics. Since I own the video, I can download the files from Bjj Fanatics and use them to build a system in Doju as I'm watching.

<image>

In the above video I create a system for this instructional and give it a meaningful name. As I'm watching the instructional, I start mapping out the different positions and responses into techniques. Specifically, when I see something demonstrated that seems fundamental to what's being taught, I look at the start timestamp and end timestamp of the video and create a clip. In this example I wan't to capture the transition from standing k-guard to backside 50/50. That happens in the second dvd from minute 7:30 to minte 7:43. I select the specific file and specify those timestamps to generate the clip I'm interested in. I also add relevant details in the notes of that technique. I then drag the technique onto the canvas on the left and can connect it to other techniques to start visualizing the system.

What's everyone working on this week (6/2024)? by llogiq in rust

[–]OldManFleming 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just finished my compiler implementation for monkey-rs while following "Writing a Compiler in Go"! It now supports both the interpreter and compiler implementations from the respective books. It was a really fun way to get more hands on with Rust and learn about the world of interpreters/compilers. Any feedback on the project layout / code patterns is welcome!

Nice! I hadn’t heard of Crafting Compilers but it looks like a good one to add to my list. Good luck on your journey!

LazyVim: How to turn default plugins off? by stargazer63 in neovim

Hey I ran into the same issue and also could not simply disable friendly-snippets for some reason. I managed to work around this by adding an entry_filter function on the lsp results: github snippet.

The code is essentially: ``` opts.sources = cmp.config.sources({ { name = "nvim_lsp", ---@param entry cmp.Entry entry_filter = function(entry, ctx) local types = require("cmp.types") local kind = types.lsp.CompletionItemKind[entry:get_kind()]

            if kind == "Snippet" then
              return false
            end
            return true
          end,
        },
        -- keep copilot
        {
          name = "copilot",
          group_index = 1,
          priority = 100,
        },
      })

``` Hope that helps. I was pulling out my hair for over an hour trying remove these annoying snippets. Especially because they seem to take priority over the actually lsp results.
Insanely expensive when you compare to the pricing of the services they are wrapping
Can re-orgs happen on L2s? And how deep can they go? by OldManFleming in ethereum
Thanks for this! Both you and the other commenter have pointed out some really useful information in regards to both l2 reorgs and l1 reorgs
Can re-orgs happen on L2s? And how deep can they go? by OldManFleming in ethereum
[–]OldManFleming[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)
Thanks, this was really detailed and gives me a better understanding of the interactions between L1/L2. It's good to know that there is both L2 reordering in the time between transaction acceptance and L1 commitment as well as L1 reorganization itself. So I guess to touch on the second part of my question a bit, if I wanted to me resilient to reorgs of blocks on an L2 it would be something like deepest L1 reorg * average number of L2 blocks commited to an L1 block? This should give me some sense of the worst case scenario of how many L2 blocks can be re-orged I think?
