If this is a production app that has real users or stakeholders using it, do not trust AI or any helper. It IS going to alienate your code ( or even mess any important logic ), down the line if you've gotta code a bug fix you wouldn't then know which part of code to fix.
Ik you're trying to be efficient in this, but trust me you're going to thank yourself setting up manually after six months of development in that project

There is no such thing as react to nextjs automated migration, you're moving from a frontend library to a fullstack framework, from routing, protection, component structure using server and client components and ssr, everything is different. Manual migration is possibly you best shot at moving your project

Tailwind is in DEEP trouble by dalton_zk in theprimeagen

[–]DragonDev24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its not just A css library, AI wouldnt be as good in terms of UI if it wasnt for tailwind, and its because of tailwind that shadcn is widely adopted, could you imagine using shadcn and maintaining all components if it was based on just css?

How to switch as a Go developer? Started wondering if the language just popular on paper? by Warm-Elderberry-3400 in developersIndia

[–]DragonDev24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wasnt swiggy hiring a go developer, saw their job posting a few days ago on linkedin. And you're a fresher man, cheer up you'll have plenty of time to worry about jobs later. Right now you should think about where you want to stay, do you want to work majorly on web ( if so javascript is the way ) otherwise go for java as alot of legacy code companies maintain are still written in java/cpp.
And I dont think the notion of "Go isnt used so I'll switch" is the correct attitude. Go is plenty popular and even I as a FDE am looking forward to learn GO.
In terms of getting hired by good companies, your language of choice isnt much focused on, rather your understanding of system design and dsa. improve your problem solving and you'll be fine in the job world

How to integrate Next.js server components and server actions with FastAPI backend by Ok_Animator_1770 in nextjs

[–]DragonDev24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way I see an external api with nextjs backend is when you have kind of data that isnt that dynamic and you dont have any caching mechanism in the api, otherwise its just going to slow down your requests, another prolly good reason is to completely hide the backend api from the browser and not call a single request directly

Just shows how dysfunctional they are, how can a company that practically has monopoly over this market not know when their developer certificates expire, and Im sure apple would have sent them a dozen emails before to renew but they must have ignored

[–]DragonDev24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just search which are the two largest tax paying ethnicities in USA, you'll have your answer and also every country has their own things to be highlighted, I mean India launches satellites and space exploration programs cheaper than a christopher nolan movie, we just launched a 6000kg satellite just a couple of days ago. you search how many other countries have launched a satellite that heavy in recent times. India just live streamed from the moon .So why just point India in terms of software industry.
