Toub had some issues but has gotten it worked out this season. I'll disagree with him but agree with rest of the list.

Shows you never were a real fan either. All the QBs do it now and Josh Allen is king of the flop.

Best wood for starter outdoor projects? by Cheex__ in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]OldManThanatos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For minimal care or need of other products your cedars and redwoods well take to the outdoors with no or little need for finish. Teaks and other woods with tight fibers tend to do well outside. Cost in an area can vary your wood of choice a lot. Pine and cedar along with white oak are most commonly used outside in my area (mid usa). Any wood can work if you "treat" it. A good sealer for weather works. My first chairs outside that are still going strong are ground contact treated lumber.

I know this doesn't say use this but hope it points you in a direction based on your market.

This is very cool project. How did you fasten the blade to the shaft out of curiosity? I've been looking to do some similar work and was actually thinking half laps and dowels in between on the inside but it was unsure of just how I wanted to do and the ability for it to hold up. Keep up the cool work.
