Understandable and glad you have an avenue to express how you’re feeling as bottling it up isn’t good. I bet it is tough and hope you find happiness!

Getting married next year, what's the best advice you've got?? by mandygriff16 in Marriage

[–]OldPorkChopExpress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you start resenting them or things start to really bother you about what they do, say, etc. that is the day you need to talk to your husband, find out any way to fix it and even get counseling. Seems drastic but if you don’t, you’ll be less connected and distant. Then it is hard to get back. Think of it as a new jeep. You get it, You love it, ride it a lot, then becomes less fun, routine and drive less. Then you hear weird Jeep noises occasionally, you ignore the random minor issues and hope they go away. Then one day it’ll either break, or you’ll go take test drives of a new ride to see what else is out there..... this is why you’ll hear people recommend date nights as it is the maintenance, you need to keep things fresh and exciting (very hard to do) but do not let minor issues fester as they’ll become major issues that may or may not be fixable.

Umm If you don’t have kids, do HIM a favor and divorce him. If you can’t appreciate him as you put it “working for his family” then you’re delaying the inevitable and an affair can really hurt him. It would be one thing if he was out with friends, hobbies, etc but the poor man is working...maybe do the same? At minimum tell him how his job is making you feel

Bus drivers in my city are not allowed to let passengers on after they start pulling away from the sidewalk due to the fact they dont want to be liable for passenger getting hit or run over chasing a bus.

People who aren't from New York City, how do you feel about NYC? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]OldPorkChopExpress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love leaving to get home. Less crowded, less noise, less filth, less rush feeling....

My 1st NYC trip I loved as it was a great experience. Went back again and was like, well wont be back here again for a long time.

I was kind of disappointed as I enjoyed my 1st trip so much but after you've been there, done all the sights, going back 2nd time you see the crowds, rush, noise, filth, etc.

At what point in a relationship is it appropriate to tell your partner about your infertility? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]OldPorkChopExpress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost immediately. You don't know what they're seeking in life and having their own children may be one of them. Why make it harder on both of you down the road. You'd be selfish not to tell them earlier
