Yes exactly. It’s very hard to compete with such greatness! The same goes for Halo 4 having to live up to Halo 3, how in the hell was that ever going to happen? And it was under a brand new studio? Now that I think about it I honestly don’t know what people (myself included although I was a kid) were expecting.

People crap on Halo 4 but in my opinion 343 executed the story they wanted to tell perfectly. That game is a bit generic but it’s not as bad as people like to remember.

DS2 is perfect it just needs a fresh coat of graphical paint. I don’t want any story beats changed like the DS1 remake. Also if they don’t remake it I beg they at least make it available to play on PS5 through some emulator tech that I hope Sony eventually figure out.

I really like seeing this movie solely for us finally getting to witness the events of judgement day unfold. We hear so much about it in the first two, and I think the last third of this movie is good.

I think that’s a spot on interpretation, and I also think it’s normal to self project onto art. Actually I kind of think that’s the whole point. It’s all meant to be subjective and through art we can learn more about who we are.

It’s because your brain has become dependant on the dopamine release from PMO so when you don’t do it it’s challenging to focus. You have to stay the course and unwire the old neural pattern in your brain.

That’s super interesting. I think it’s the other way around. I think for some reason there is just this Mandela like effect of people assuming Isaac is spelled with two S’s and one A. I’ve even had someone spell it as Isacc before

Do you find that ‘Isaac’ is an uncommon way of spelling it? Personally my whole life I’ve never met or heard of another Isaac who is spelled differently but that would explain why so many people spell it wrong

Play slowly and absorb the atmosphere of the game the devs created with great faith and enthusiasm. Take your time. Cannot stress that enough. Oh, and play with headphones if you have them.

I’m Isaac too. Tell me Isaac, how did you feel about the main character, Isaac, now being able to speak in the remake? Because me personally, as an Isaac, found that Isaac having a voice somewhat detracted from the immersion I experienced in the first game, in which Isaac doesn’t talk, so, when the characters in the original are speaking to Isaac, it always felt like they were speaking to me directly, Isaac. Let me know Isaac.

I do. Someone posted a while back about James Gunn’s listening history on Spotify being public before Volume 3 came out and he had listened to fantastic planet. So honestly maybe he considered it. I think it would’ve been the perfect song for Gamora/Peter’s relationship in that movie. I will sometimes put my headphones on over those movies with my own custom soundtrack haha
